It fills the cockles of my cold black heart to know that DJ’s is still alive and kickin’. I used to rent VHS AND Beta Max from them, back when they were right next door to Ashland Health and Fitness. My oh my how the times fly. Great rates, great service, and, in my experience, forgiving staff, way back when some places charged you extra if you forgot to rewind!!!

This place is awesome. Love the new location! Friendly staff, large selection, VERY kid friendly. Has a young child play area, and a ‘stay and play’ gaming area. They also rent xbox360s and PS3s! Normal video store pricing but they do 1.99 rental specials throughout the store that change up all the time… Including two genres every month! Great place, love to support the local owners!

D.J.‘s Video is a family business that has been in Ashland since 1984.
Originally in the Ashland shopping center they have since moved to the «trendy» A Street area and are now located across from Ashland Hardware.
D.J.‘s still offers a huge variety of DVD’s for both rent in purchase in all genres, including art and documentary.
My kids love the large variety of children and teen movies and game rental selection.
It is so nice to see small local companies diversifying and re-​interpreting themselves to compete in today’s changing business environment and D.J.‘s is doing just that.
