Meet the Business Owner

Thomas H.

Business Owner

Owner Thomas Houston has over 25 years experience in the picture framing industry. His design excellence and craftsmanship has been recognized nationwide and has been featured in the premier trade publication, Picture Framing Magazine. He is one of fewer than 70 individuals world wide to hold an M.C.P.F. — Master Certified Picture Framer. This designation given by the Professional Picture Framers Associations is awarded after passing a rigorous testing procedure and assures our customers that their work is being handled appropriately, regardless of the medium.

After graduating from the San Francisco Art Institute, Houston became a picture framer to support his art career. He continued his craft even after having having successful shows in San Francisco and beyond. Eventually moving to Ashland in 1995, he opened his own frame shop and gallery, where he continues to produce beautiful and unique custom framing as well as fine art.
