Highly recommend the gorgeous Iris Inn. Amazing location close to downtown, great food and fantastic sleeping accommodations. Vicki is a wonderful cook and the food was beyond what we expected. It has all the comforts of home and there is not a better bed and breakfast to stay in around the Ashland area. Not only will we be staying here again but this is an experience anyone reading this should not pass up. Thanks again Vicki and Greg!!!

We just spent six nights at the Iris Inn, while visiting Ashland for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. We highly recommend this inn! The room was very clean, very comfortable, and very pleasant. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The innkeepers are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Interesting people, too. The inn is a ten minute walk from the theaters and many good restaurants. There were many small touches that I have not seen at other B&B’s, and these made the experience even more special. For example, there was a night light in the bathroom.(No more bumping into furniture in the dark in an unfamiliar room at night!) Another example was the ceiling fan, which was truly silent.(I need to find out the brand from them!) The sherry, port, and locally-made delicious chocolates that awaited us after the theater were also lovely, as was the«turn down» and«fluffing» service that kept our room expecially inviting. Lots of hangers in the closet, lots of space for storing clothing. And the greatest reading lamps for the bed! Perfect for curling up with a book at night.(My experience in most B&B’s is that the reading lamps are too dim to read by.)

Both my mother, my wife and I have stayed here over the years when visiting the Shakespeare Festival(albeit never at the same time — ha ha). It’s the best B&B in town, according to my mom, and I actually really like it, too. So did my second wife, even though she was with her previous dude. Comfortable, relaxed and pleasant, the rooms are just dreamy — literally. Plenty of light in the day time, and plenty of warmth at night. The host is friendly and enjoyable, without overdoing it. The provided meals are excellent, too. Love the bathrobes, too, by the way. Can’t wait to actually go here again with my wife!

We love coming to the Iris Inn. This will make our 20th year, and we consider it our home in Ashland. Vicki, Greg and their friendly staff always make our visit special. Vicki is in the know about all the happenings in the area, and can advise you on which restaurants and shops you might enjoy checking out. The 5 rooms are spacious, with sitting areas, private bath and comfy beds. The décor throughout the house is charming. During the summer months the backyard is the place to be. There are plenty of tables and chairs, and even a hammock. We spend many hours reading and enjoying the warm weather. Breakfast is served in a sunny dining room. The portions are plentiful and we often can’t finish. However you can ask for a smaller portion and they’ll happily accommodate. Meals always include fresh fruit, juice, coffee or tea, fresh baked muffins or scones and a main plate of waffles, pancakes, eggs, or whatever Vicki’s creative muse has brought forth. She uses fresh and health conscious ingredients. We look forward to our visits and highly recommend the Iris Inn.

This B&B is fantastic! The innkeepers, Vicki and Greg are gracious hosts and extremely knowledgeable of the area. The room we had was impeccably neat as was the entire inn and the breakfasts and other amenities were delectable. We will definitely be going be going back!

Cute traditional English B&B. Comfy, but small rooms. Vickie(the host) was nice enough to ask if I had any dirty laundry. Free glass of wine/port/sherry whatever your after-dinner drink taste bud calls for. Free Wi-Fi. Conveniently located a bock away from the strip. Pretty good breakfast, but left me kind of hungry still… maybe I just eat a lot. I’d stay here again though.

A lovely, well-run b and b. comfy, pretty, and nice proprietor. A short walk from the theatres and downtown. One star off b/c I prefer not eating breakfast with strangers. Otherwise, a-ok in the cheesemonger’s book
