This gas station is extremely unethical. If you pull up to the island nearest the cashier you’ll pay an extra 75 cents per gallon. I asked why the total seemed higher than normal before the cashier ran my credit card and the service folks offered me zero explanation other than that’s the total. Mind you the credit card reader at the pump doesn’t work so you are required to pay inside where you can’t read the totals at the pump unless you run back outside and lose your spot in line. I left the station and re-checked my receipt and noticed the price per gallon I paid didn’t match the quoted price on the sign. I immediately returned to the gas station to point out the discrepancy of 75 cents per gallon assuming it was a mistake and this time they offered me an explanation. I was told that I pulled into the«full service» island. The cashier then asked if the service person offered to check my oil, tire pressure, or clean my window. I said he did not offer any of those services. After additional explaining he reluctantly processed a refund but instead of putting the refund back on my credit card he paid me in cash. This was a completely unacceptable customer service experience. The price was not quoted properly, the refund was shady, and the service folks go out of their way to conceal the costs until you make a return trip feeling ripped off. I can’t believe a small business in our area which is known for small town values would take advantage of customers in such a flagrant manner. Buyer beware!

On there sign, they said gas was $ 3.49, but they charged me $ 3.99 for my 20 gallon tank, which is not only ethically wrong, but 50 cents a gallon does make a difference on the pocketbook. Needless to say, I will not be returning.
