We specialize in Import car repair and maintenance. We work on Honda, Toyota, V.W./Audi, Subaru, and many others. Your car will be taken care of including a no cost inspection and a free mini detail. If we find a problem we want you to understand what the problem is and why it is important to make the repair. We focus on high quality parts, good customer service and making our final bill as close to the estimate as possible so there are no surprises when it’s time to get your car back.

History

Established in 1984.

Siskiyou Import Services was opened by two friends working at the Medford schools bus barn. They were experts in VW repair and Diesel cars and trucks. In 1995 They hired a young man named Bow. Bow worked at Siskiyou Imports for about one year before going out to explore the world. During that exploration Bow met Heather while living in Eugene and working at Carquest. Bow and Heather moved to Denver and then back to Ashland where Bow grew up. Siskiyou Imports was looking for a mechanic when Bow walked in to say hi to his old co-​workers. The owners asked if he knew anybody looking for work and Bow asked if he could have the job. Bow was working at Carquest and although the pay was good the hours were bad.

After working at Siskiyou for about one year Bow was asked to be the service adviser. Bow accepted the job and realized how much he enjoyed the job. About a year later Bow and Heather were asked if they would buy the business. They loved the idea and finalized the deal.

Bow grew up in Ashland and attended Ashland schools. He worked at Siskiyou Imports for one year after high school doing oil changes, brake jobs, and other repairs and maintenance. A year later he moved to Eugene and worked as a meat cutter and then at Carquest auto parts. Bow met his now wife Heather and her two daughters in Eugene. They all moved to Denver where they lived for a couple years before moving back to Ashland. He continued to work for Carquest and then was offered a job as a mechanic at Siskiyou again. He was a mechanic for one year before the owners asked him to be the service adviser. That went very good and before another year Bow and Heather were asked if they would buy the business. The did and have been growing Siskiyou Imports into the high quality import repair shop it is today.

Bow loves working with the public and volunteer work for things like the Fourth of July parade and the Ashland schools. Family, car racing, and dirt bikes are what Bow loves.
