Aida was simply the best realtor we ever worked with. Not only did she help us find a beautiful apartment within our budget and with a very nice landlord, she did it all in one day! It’s obvious she cares for her customer’s rights and that they walk away satisfied. Will defiantly recommend her to friends!

Refuses to co-​broker deals, a very selfish practice that only hurts the sellers represented. REBNY and NYSAR have been notified.

Aida was a great broker and really bent over backwards to help my boyfriend and I finding out new apartment. I found Aida’s post on craigslist. Her assistant was very sweet and showed me the apartment the first time. When I asked if we could see the apartment again so that my boyfriend could see, Aida was very accomidating and set up a time that worked for everyone so we could view the apartment again. She was very understanding about a payement schedule and was very clear the whole way. She also worked very hard to get our rent lower then asking price and a good deal when it came to logistics with the landlord. I would most certainly work with Aida again if I need a new apartment however I love my new one so will not be looking for one anytime soon!

I called Aida hoping she may have listings that suited our needs, and she set me up with Cynthia who I called and set up a meeting time for 6:00pm on Friday of July 4^th weekend. I had to work that day and she requested I call her at 5:00pm when I was leaving to confirm our appointment.
I got a call just as I was leaving at 4:30pm, Cynthia told me she got my cell phone number from calling my work and sounded annoyed that I had not called her. She insisted that if I was coming, to meet her at 5:30pm instead. I tried explaining that I needed to talk to my boyfriend about our plans first but she would not give me any time to do so.
We rushed to get to the appointment and in the process she called me 4 times in 5 minutes, asking us where we were and what was taking us so long. I was so irritated from being harassed by the time we got there (practically running in the 100 degree heat) but I attempted to put on a friendly face. She showed us the first apartment and explained there was a one month and half brokers fee because the super gets a half months fee. We were interested in this apartment but the extra half was a consideration we needed to think about.
While discussing the first place, we met with other realtors the next day. We randomly met with a very nice realtor who happened to show us the place Cynthia did the day before. Guess what? No half month’s fee extra! That changed our situation and also made us upset that Cynthia would be so deceitful.
I received a nasty text from Cynthia two days later saying «I just heard you rented the apt I showed you on your own behind my back that’s not fair! I hope you enjoy it!»
All in all she was pushy and unprofessional. The extra fee isn’t worth it, if you are interested in a realtor who is fantastic and will go above and beyond (and is not interested in only filling her pocket) look up Chantal at Aamen Realty she is an absolute doll!

Aida was a wonderful broker and knows how to run a good business. Instantly, I felt that we had a connection, which is important to me as a client. She showed me an apartment in Astoria queens that was beautiful and exactly how it was portrayed on
. Me and my two roommates loved the place and were ready to sign except there was one problem: the owner wanted to meet us all in person before sealing the deal. This was not an unreasonable request except for the fact that my two roommates had not come with me for the apartment hunt. We were three medical students who lived in Pennsylvania so not only was it inconvenient for us all to be there in person to meet the landlord, but it was also impossible for us to come back up again a separate weekend as our boards exams were right around the corner and we could not all devote another weekend to travel to NY. I explained this to Aida and she was extremely understanding and compassionate. After a little bit of creative thinking, Aida was able to convince the owner to meet just me in person and to meet my two roommates via video chat. In the end it all worked out and we were accepted for the apartment!
The whole time, Aida did not badger me about the broker’s fee. When we were accepted for the apartment, she sent a celebratory text that made me smile; I felt that she was genuinely rooting for us.
The whole time she was responsive and listened to my needs. I asked her how far the subway walk was from the new apartment and she said «5 — 7 minutes but my son says I sprint» haha which was a very honest answer. I later walked the walk and it was 8 minutes away.
When I met the owner, he also had only the best things to say about her and the way she ran her business.
My apartment hunt was a time of high stress and Aida did a great job to make things run smoothly for me, which I will always appreciate. I recommend her services and if I ever need to find an apartment again will call her.

Aida was NOT helpful at all with anything regarding paperwork, processes, working with our landlord/​owner. Very rude and lazy. Don’t waste your time because there are plenty of other realtors who actually like to work. Also charges a huge fee!!! Once she gets the money she doesn’t care about anything else.

Aida helped my roommate and I find a great apartment. We found her through a craigslist listing– she was immediately responsive and able to show us the listing right away. Aida is incredibly knowledgeable of the Astoria and Queens rental and real estate markets, and seems to have a long standing relationship with some of the area’s landlords. She also seems to work around the clock, and was flexible enough to be able to work around my schedule when the lease needed to be signed. If I ever need to look again in this area, Aida would be my first call

I recently found an apartment with Aida and had a very good experience with her. The apartment was just as described, she was upfront about everything (including her fee), and stayed in touch after I moved in to make sure everything was OK with the new place. I would definitely work with her again!

This lady is a thief. She regularly adds fees at the last moment and does absolutely nothing to earn it. She showed up late to meet us. No apology. She showed us an apartment that was still being renovated. Demanded TWO MONTHS rent as a brokers fee and then did absolutely nothing when the apartment wasn’t finished on time. The check was sure cashed on time. Stay away from her.

Aida was wonderful-​patient, kind, and accommodating. She tried as much as possible to accommodate our wishes, which was much appreciated. Highly recommended for anyone looking in the Astoria area.

While looking on Craigslist my roommate and I found this place in Astoria. We called the number and Aida called us back within ten minutes! The next day we were at the apartment! She was on time for our appointment and was so helpful in answering our questions and any concerns we had! She is definately the one to go to if your looking for an apartment! Needless to say we took the apartment that day! Thanks Aida!

I can’t disagree more with the reviews I’ve found here. Aida was pleasant and showed me a number of apartments on short notice. Though I ultimately decided not to go with any of the ones she showed me, she had many to offer and I could not have asked for a better guide to the neighborhood. Her years of experience and understanding of Astoria apartments are immediately apparent. Please keep her in mind for your North-​Western Queens renting needs.

Had to post on this company. Aida posted an ad for an indoor garage. The ad read:

When I spoke to her on the phone she said it’s a $ 100 deposit and $ 200 per month. I met up with her at the garage and she said it was a $ 200 deposit and $ 200 brokers fee. The garage was being rented as-​is. Although it had a roof which was fine, there was debris all over the garage and needed to be cleaned up. There is also about 150 feet of driveway which she said is our responsibility to shovel when it snows. There are other garages next to it and she said that they shovel as well. I called her a few days later and told her my concern about the brokers fee being too high. She showed me a garage and said the fee was non-​negotiable. I told her that the fee was way too high considering she didn’t do anything but show us a garage. She quickly said she didn’t have time for me and good luck finding a garage and hung up on me.

Aida is the most depressing woman you will ever meet. We found a posting from her company on Craigslist and decided the apartment would be fine. At the lease signing, she suddenly dropped a «brokers fee» bomb on us. It was listed online as no-​fee, which she claimed was incorrect and «worked out a deal» where we had to pay her 1 month’s equivalent instead of 1.5 months equivalent, and it had to be in cash.
Now, we’re moving out of our apartment, and unfortunately, she’s one of the brokers showing the place. The three of us all work jobs with very long hours, so I told her she could pick up keys after 8:30, when at least one of us would be home, or in the morning before we go to work, or some time during the weekend. She said, «No, I can’t go out that late,» «No, I don’t work on weekends,» and then tried to make me feel bad by saying, «You know, I work everyday from 9 – 6.» Well, guess what lady, 9 – 6 is a good day for me. The reality is 9 – 8 on a normal day plus weekends, so quit your bitching! Then she started threatening me that it’s in our contract that we must make the apartment available for showing or we forfeit our security deposit. Really? You’re too lazy to meet me at my work to get the keys, or meet me at any of the times that I’m available, and now you’re threatening me?
