Buster and Whiskers

I highly recommend Igor and his staff at Buster and Whiskers! They are reliable, trustworthy, and take such good care of my 11 year-​old Boston terrier Hershey! Igor has been helping me care for her for the past year. He is always on time and sends me detailed text messages with pictures and even cute videos!
Igor and his staff go above and beyond! Hershey has arthritis and her back legs are very weak due to a back injury. I was very upset when Hershey’s legs got like this, and the veterinarian recommended physical therapy exercises for Hershey. Igor knew how upset I was and how I was nervous to do the exercises on Hershey, so he now does the physical therapy and leg exercises with her! Whenever I come home from work, she is calm and happy and her legs are improving! On the rare occasion that I am home when Igor comes to walk her, I can’t help but notice that Hershey gets more excited to see him than me!
Sometimes I get stuck at work late, and if I reach out to Igor last minute, he goes out of his way to go check-​in on Hershey, walk her, feed her, and give her fresh water for me. When I go away, I have Hershey stay at Igor’s apartment. Igor and his wife treat Hershey as if she was their own dog and Hershey has a ball staying with them! Sometimes they’ll even escape the city with Hershey and I will get adorable pictures of Hershey sunbathing on the grass in a beautiful backyard. It gives me such relief to know that Hershey is in such good hands whenever she’s not with me!

I have been using these Igor and his team services to walk my dog for quite some time and they really exceeded my expectations. They walk my golden retriever on a week basis and the staff is always on time, send pics and videos of her when outdoors and when I get home my pup is tired and happy! Igor is such a dog lover and pays attention on my dog’s behavior giving me constant feedback on what he sees — it’s just wonderful to have someone you trust to look after your best furry friend! I definitely recommend his services to anyone here in NY!

I had only had Chloe, a rescue puppy, for 1.5 weeks when I needed dog sitting services. And even though it was giving me heart palpitations to leave her for five days, I asked for advice from my friend whose the highest maintenance and least price sensitive when it came to his dog’s care. He had been using Igor for over a year and only had great things to say, so I took a deep breath and arranged for Chloe to stay with him.
She had nothing short of a great time! He took her outside to a large fenced in backyard two days and even gave her a bath to make sure she came home perfect. She had ample walks, exercise and playtime. Also a trainer, Igor gave her the discipline she needed (goodbye carpet chewing and sweater nipping!). Additionally, Chloe was having stomach issues and Igor was diligent with her medication, as well as dealt with her nightly regurgitation habit (even washed her bedding!). He would update me every day with videos, pictures and little stories as to what she was doing and how she was feeling. It got to the point where I was nervous to come home because she wouldn’t be as happy with me!
Igor also offered pick up and drop off services, which made my life a ton easier. I came home to a happy, healthy pup, in her crate and yes, still very excited to see me! I look forward to enlisting Igor again, and trying his other services. I know both Chloe and I cannot wait!
