Came in for the first time with a group of friends on a Saturday night, looking just to chill and have some hookah. But are night was far from chill. Initially a guy approached one of my friends, trying to tell him something about the hookah but it was so loud in there we couldn’t really make out what he was saying. We heard the price $ 16 for a hookah, but looking at the menu we saw that the premium hookah was $ 16 and assumed this is what he was trying to tell us. But we wanted regular hookah for $ 10, so I asked another worker there if we could get 3 regular hookahs for $ 10 each, which was also stated clearly on the menu, and he said yes. I made sure to ask him a 2nd time that our total would be $ 30, and he again said yes. The hookah was decent, the peach flavor was the best one. But the DJ kept playing songs no one knew, it was just bad and we decided to leave. We left the amount of money we were told we would have to pay, which was $ 30, plus any drinks we ordered. As we were leaving, a few guys come out of the hookah lounge screaming at us to stop. So we did. The guy who initially spoke to us tells us we did not pay the total amount for the hookah, which he says was $ 48. He then tells us that on weekends all of the hookah is $ 16, which is not stated anywhere inside or outside the premises or anywhere on the menu so who was supposed to concretely know that? I calmly tell him that we ordered the regular hookah which was $ 10 a hookah, that was clearly stated on the menu, and that i confirmed it with another worker. He then proceeds to get nasty and extremely disrespectful with me, telling me that the guy who told me it was $ 10 does not even work there and that he lied. But he clearly was a worker because he served us our hookah and drinks. So does this establishment just let anyone serve hookah and drinks? That seems highly unprofessional. After a few minutes of me arguing my case with the so-called owner, the same guy who told me it was $ 10 for regular hookah comes outside. I ask him ‘hey didn’t you tell me our total would be $ 30?’ and he says yes in front of the owner! Thank you! But then they proceed to argue amongst themselves in their foreign language, the guy who just told me he said it was $ 30 now recants his statement and tells me he didn’t tell me any price at all. Jesus Christ. So yes people I just randomly got $ 30 from my imagination. Either way the menu CLEARLY says that the regular hookahs are $ 10 and the premium hookahs are $ 16! And that is what me and my friends were willing to pay and why we even stayed in the first place. It isn’t about the money, because we would’ve paid whatever was clearly written on the menu like any person would do, or leave if we didn’t agree with the price. The lack of professionalism and disrespect is out of control in this establishment. Don’t expect to hear good music. Don’t expect to differentiate who works there or who doesn’t because apparently anyone can serve you. The only decent thing about this place was the peach hookah, all the other flavors were lacking. And if you get confused because these people say one thing while the music is blasting and when the menu says another thing, don’t expect to be treated with any respect. We definitely won’t be back, and neither will the people we know. I do not recommend this place if you want to enjoy your night. Astoria is full of many other hookah lounges you can try out.

When I first moved here I used to come here all the time. The environment and employees were always very nice. The hookah was good and the tea was hot. In all fairness this is the only lounge I have really been to but it’s a solid spot. There’s no bar though so if you’re looking for that it isn’t there(unless they recently changed it). Get ready to watch some foot ball and see men play backgammon!

I love this place because the hookah is pretty damn good and the owner is so nice! The people that go are regulars and don’t bother anyone, which is great! However I didn’t give it 5 stars only because of how rowdy it gets sometimes(mainly because of the 18 – 20 year olds that go every so often) and because the guy that gives out the coal isnt as attentive. Other than that… love it here!

I really really wanted to give this place 5 stars but could not. We’ll start out with the good. The shisha is amazing, literally some of the best hookah that I have ever smoked. They also had a live DJ on the night that we were there which was awesome. The staff were incredibly friendly and the place is pretty cheap. The bad, as the night went on the service got worse and worse. We had asked for a refill and literally waited 30 mintues for it(this place is small and it wasn’t packed at all). We saw the staff that was supposed to be refilling socializing with people that he knew and going outside to smoke hookah. It was pretty frustrating. The same thing happened when we were trying to pay our bill. The hookah was amazing, but the service was pretty bad. Mixed on if I would be back here.

This is a pretty good hookah place. I’ve only been once, but enjoyed the place and the staff was friendly. They have an open area in the backyard that you can go as well. We had the mint and guava flavored options and both were pretty good. The staff kept the coals burning and were prompt. They have a maximum of two people per hookah, so you should plan accordingly. Prices are fairly cheap. We paid $ 20 for two hookahs.

Casa Lounge is a pretty cool hookah bar located on the strip on Steinway. I’ve always passed by it, but never really stopped in there until recently. What lured me in was the music. They play all kinds of music and the best way I can describe it is like a «chill party» lounge. The flavors & prices offered are pretty standard for the area, service is okay, and the smoothies are pretty good. I wouldn’t come here to relax though.

I live only a few blocks away however this past weekend was my first time visiting Casa Lounge. With all the hookah spots in the neighborhood, it can be overwhelming when it comes to deciding where to go. Myself and a few friends decided to check out Casa on a sunny Sunday afternoon. It was quiet and the backyard seating was fantastic, especially in the nice weather. The shisha is inexpensive and flavorful and the coals were consistently well tended to. The Moroccan tea we ordered was delicious as well. A great spot to relax. There’s no pressure to hurry or leave at any time, and it’s a relaxed oasis on an otherwise loud/busy street. Will def be back more often now!

This was THE go to spot last year, my friends and I would always find ourselves here at least once every 2 weeks. The crowd was always the same. Music was always on point, we’d dance our asses off. I remember one time, the owner(or manager) came up to us and said«guys this isn’t a club,» we continued dancing though and he just got used to it. Service is incredible, always attentive staff, they kept our hookah burning, everything was delivered in a timely manner, and they’re very friendly. Hookah, strong flavor but smooth finish. Fresh fruits are always best! I would drink the Casa Mix Smoothie which is really good and so is their Moroccan tea. No alcoholic beverages! They’re very inexpensive which is why they always have business. Now I came here last week with my boyfriend and things change, the set up change, the crowd changed, the workers changed… I was pretty upset with the change in employees… I really liked the old staff a lot, but the new one was just as attentive, very nice people. I’d recommend this place for a low key, relaxed hookah experience that won’t break your pockets.

This is my go to spot for hookah! Pretty deep coming from the Bronx but well worth it. People who work here are friendly, great service. Although they raised their prices a little bit over the few months, but hey they deserve all that. I hope they’re here to stay for the long run!

A fun time with friends on Saturday night. The music was good the only thing there was because they do not serve any alcohol.

ADD version: Cheap Good quality shisha Free W-fi Great service Can bring in outside food Bad music Bad furniture Perfect place for the solo hookah smoker. This is mostly because it’s cheap($ 8), good quality, and there is free wi-fi. Not great for groups because of the horrendous furniture. You know those pictures from World War II of the women who went to work while the men were at war, and how they always sat with unreal straight-back posture? Those women would be comfortable here.

After my initial review, I have been back several times and just wanted to update my prior thoughts. This place has continued to impress me. Every flavor of hookah has been fantastic, and every time except once, the coals have been kept perfectly lit(and the one time it fell a bit behind, it was getting pretty crazy inside — so it was understandable). Their coffee drinks are also fantastic — I usually get the half and half. Overall this place is very authentic — mostly men sitting around and smoking. I find it to be a pretty cultural, yet delicious, experience.

You are a little short on cash and really want to find a good spot to smoke some quality hookah in, then this place is hands up one of the best places around. Only $ 8 and has some pretty exotic flavors to it. The staff is friendly and will keep the customer satisfaction to it’s max. The backyard is pretty chill to sit at. The only downside to this is the lack of comfy chairs and the hangout of obnoxious high school kids sometimes. But overall good place. :)

I like Casa Lounge a lot better then a lot of Hookah spots on Steinway! It’s very chill hookah is $ 8 and no tax. They have a backyard if you don’t want to sit inside. Free wi-fi. The bad I would have to say is the furniture it could be a little more comfier. Other then that its worth it.
