My boyfriend and I love C&V. It’s a great tiny bar, wit a great beer selection. Their sandwiches are exactly what I want to be eating after a couple of drinks. Definitely a cozy date spot. The bartenders are all very friendly, we usually end up talking to them quite a bit throughout the night. They’re pretty passionate about beer and are happy to offer recommendations if you need one.

Charming little place — beer and wine only, but excellent selection of each. Small food menu — excellent cheese selection and an assortment of paninis(wasn’t crazy about the one I tried — the Classico, where the fig balsamic was overpowering and too sweet). The beer list is ever-changing but well-crafted, with a focus on seasonal and local breweries(I’ve tried great options from Singlecut and the LIC Beer Project here). The owner, Drew, is an excellent bartender and amiable, welcoming host. My friend(who is quite the regular here) recently had his 40th bday celebration here, and he was generously granted the run of the place to have himself roasted — we commandeered the stage with a mic and went to town for over an hour. Drew even ably kicked in a small set between serving drinks and food. I’m assured that the stage is used for actual, talented entertainers on some other nights(including Jazz on Sunday evenings). At other times, the background music is enjoyable but unobtrusive. Overall, just a fun, welcoming place to try some quality grain/grape options in a cozy, intimate setting.

Another delightful Saturday evening at Crescent & Vine! This place has THE best bartender. And he has the best playlist! We live in central pa and love to spend our time in NYC visiting with family and friends-this is the perfect bar for conversation because you can hear each other!!! The beer and wine are exceptional-everyone had an excellent brew!

Always a great time when I come here. Small draught selection but always great options. And of course, delicious wine :) Always live jazz on a Sunday night — I don’t know a better way to spend the evening! The bartenders are always awesome and funny. Great place to come to by yourself or with someone else. Either way, you’ll definitely leave with a new friend!

We stopped here on our beer tour of Ditmars Blvd to use our beer coupons from the Queens Beer Book. Such a small and cute little place! Definitely a cool spot for a date night… Dim lights, a nice drink menu, and some food as well. I don’t know how the food was, but the beer I drank was great. I drank some cider. It was a little on the sweet side which I was expecting but I would say it was a little too sweet for me. Just a heads up, if you go to use the restroom there’s a teeny tiny little step down when you enter. I didn’t know it was there and stumbled as I walked into the dark restroom.

Phenomenal bar… we’re incredibly lucky to have this in our neighborhood. Beer selection changes frequently(once a week I think?) and includes a number of fancy brews you won’t see in the grocery store. I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed by my drink. I don’t think I’ve tried any of their wine, but they have an extensive list. Paninis are a bit on the pricey side and take a while to make, but are very good. The bartenders are great guys, too. Always make you feel welcome. Overall: intimate feel, great beer, great bar.

Wonderful, friendly service by staff. Delicious paninis and salads. Small yet cozy and intimate. May be a bit overpriced for some for their bottles of wine but that’s a relative downside. Great place to grab a drink before or after dinner.

You can easily spend an entire night at this joint, guzzling fabulous and unique beers and snarfing made to order gourmet sammies. It is calm, inviting, and the staff is super friendly. The menu is continuously changing, so you can always try something new. Don’t come here if you are looking for light beer and chicken fingers. Also they don’t have soda or juice, so be prepared to drink lots of agua in between your cervezas if you don’t want to get bombed on the high alcohol volume suds. LOVE this joint. Wish my bff still lived above it.

I really wanted to love this place given it’s up the block from my place and I had just moved from Brooklyn. But to me, this place turned out to be the«too cool for school» type of hipster spot. A little too pretentious for me. I realize while I’m saying this, I am in the minority, but my roommate agrees with me so maybe C&V and the perfect place for the right type of people. I gave it two tries which is enough for me. The carry some high end beers. I love beer and all its types but they carry those ones served in various glasses, and they’re on the pricier end. C&V reminded me a lot of Beer Table in Brooklyn, which the NYer raved about but I ended up not loving either. They also have some snacks. I can’t remember what I ate because it was such a long time ago but they were good.

This is my favorite bar in Astoria. Great selection of wine and craft beer, good cheese, and a lovely ambiance. But what makes this place a true gem is the customer service. Dan is the best! Can’t recommend this place enough.

The beer list is consistently changing with delicious and unique options. The wine selection is not to be over looked and the bread used to make their paninis are something I often dream about. This is one of my favorite bars in all of NYC.

This is a really cool, albeit tiny, place where you can drink some delicious wine. I tried three wines when I was last here, and all were delicious and well-described. We were fortunate that the place was empty when we arrived, because there is not much seating capacity at this place. The menu is also a bit expensive. That said, I plan on returning. It would be cool if they updated their menus online so I can look up what I drank(#drunkproblems).

Have to update this since my husband and I have been consistently going here for years and the quality is still amazing. Had to bump this up to a full-fledged 5 star because they deserves it. Great atmosphere, great music, great staff and great beer. I love this place

Amazing beer selection, and the kitchen made food for us late. Awesome service! Wine selection was limited but it’s constantly rotating so that’s understandable. Meats and cheese’s and great Paninis. I live right up the block and usually frequent here about once a month. Every time has been a good experience. Also they have live music on select nights. Great vibe.

What a great find in Astoria! They have a large selection of wines and not everything is listed in the menus so I suggest going up to the bartenders to ask them what they have. The bartenders were very helpful and knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations. They also gave generous pours for the samples before we picked out the bottle we wanted. Great place to go to if you’re with a date or a small group of friends.

I liked this place a lot, kinda reminds me of a smaller version of mosaic. Had a great wine a Tannat which I have never heard of. I also liked that the bar tender knew all about what we was selling. Also had a nice dry Cava and to finish it off a beer. Will be back!!!

Beautiful space with really friendly service – I love the tables right by the windows that open up(be careful not to fall out of the window though!) I think it’d be four stars if not for the expensiveness of the drinks which makes this bar more of an occasional thing rather than a regular. $ 8 for a glass of cider, ~$ 13 – 16 for a quartino of wine.

I think I need to try this place again because on Saturday I was less than thrilled. First the good news: It’s adorable. Exposed brick, tin ceilings, cozy atmosphere. Just freakin’ cute all around. It’s not crowded the staff is insanely friendly, you practically feel like you’re a house party where you get served. It’s awesome for a cozy date night. Now the bad: The wine selection is a little meh. For a place with«vine» in the name I expected a bit more. I had the Pinot Noir because it’s my favorite wine, it’s smooth, easy, not too acidic, basically it’s red wine with training wheels. You can get really great Pinots that knock your socks off, and then you get what I was served. An uninspired Pinot from California that left a lot to be desired. I was however impressed with their beer selection, they even had a nice funky sour on tap which is totally my jam. Unfortunately by the time I struggled through my wine I wasn’t in the mood for anything but a nap and some chocolate at home. But I love the atmosphere enough to give it a second go. It’s close and cozy and I feel like it will be the perfect spot for the winter.
