I love the store, but I don’t like that they hire people who don’t speak the language. I was there last and the worker in the back could not respond or understand the lady who was trying to tell him she was buying the shoes. If I’m going to be a continuous fan and shopper, than I expect to be respected in my own country!!! This is in regards to Steinway Street Easy Pickins

I call this place easy chickens because when i was younger i used to consider girls who dressed like this as chickenheads because i’m a big tomboy and was immature. BUT i do go here to shop because the things they sell are very cheap and I like cheap. If there is something in the window that you like beware they will not change the display for you. I remember shopping at another store on Steinway and they changed the display just to make a sale. All they had to do was switch the shirt. I like that they updated their changing room it used to be this big single room where you had to change in front of other people. It reminded me of a dance studio, this is not the case anymore now there are about 4 to 5 separate little rooms. Also if there is an item that you purchase that seems to have attached jewelry broken on it they give you a 10% discount if you complain. I’m only giving 3 stars because its a place I don’t go to often and they don’t always have what I want. The staff does help when you ask them so that’s a plus.

This place has utterly cheap clothes, shoes, bags, anything wearable; you name it! Winter boots for $ 9.99? You can’t find a deal better than that. Yes, it’s a bit dark in there and looks like some cheap place, which it is, but believe me, there are so many good stuff in there!
