Great times at Junko sushi!!! The restaurant has some of the best rolls and miso soup ive ever eaten. Not to mention I tried Plum Wine for the first time and it has become a fan favorite. Amy was our waitress and she was phenomenal. She had a great sense of humor and was very attentive. She even gave us a complimentary salad and desert. Cant wait to return! And after sushi you can head upstairs to Yoga Agora for a yoga class or meditation!

So I live on 30th ave, which means when I’ve got a serious craving for sushi, I order from Gowasabi and/or Matsu. However, after comparing prices, I noticed a not-too-far Junko Sushi was slightly cheaper, so I ordered from them instead. Delivery was super fast — a definite plus. To my surprise, I opened the bag to find glorious, huge, fragrant rolls.(I ordered the three roll lunch combo-Alaska, tuna avocado, and spicy tuna) These were the most generous portions I’ve ever had with a basic lunch combo. Usually restaurants skimp out and give smaller portions when you order from the Lunch Menu, but I was completely happy and so was my tummy. Definitely ordering from here when I get a hankering for sushi. Thanks Junko!

I haven’t frequented a lot of sushi places in this area but this place is pretty decent. I’m a fan of their grilled calamari app. Their sun dried tomato avocado is a new fav. I also had their salmon skin roll. Definitely will be back!

It’s our to go sushi spot for over a year now. we live a few blocks away and they’re great. The rolls are so creative, the creativity is fantabulous. The service is great(they even give u a complimentary ice cream if it’s your bday). The atmosphere is nice and casual, and the service is fast!

The name says it all. Junk Sushi. Ordered delivery and it was prepared very sloppy. I just had to throw it away. I also ordered brown rice and the roll came with white rice.

Was craving some refreshing green tea mochi for dessert and to our surprise ended up deciding to try the tempura green tea ice cream as well and did not expect to enjoy it as much as we did. Definitely recommend it and will have to come back to try their sushi.

I swear to god this place hires ONLYIDIOTS. Literally ordered it on seamless, took over an hour and a half for my fucking food. After an hour I finally call THEM telling them that they never showed up. I had 5 calls from the asking my address. I literally wrote the exact intersection, with the instructions«bottom buzzer». My food was FROZEN when it finally got her and then they REFUSED to refund my meal!!! Are they kidding me ?!? Never again will I order from this GARBAGE excuse of an establishment. Never in my life have I had anyoneeeeee had even a slight problem with«finding my place». There is NO excuse for this. I am DISGUSTED and will never order from this place again. Up yours junko sushi.

I ordered delivery to my boyfriends house on New Years Eve. We have ordered sushi from many places in the area and this has been my favorite so far. I got a bunch of different rolls with salmon and tuna including the salmon dumplings and loved them all. Fish was very fresh, rolls delicious, and delivery was quick. We will definitely be ordering from them again.

Finally! A place that has a spicy 3 roll combo where all 3 rolls are amazing(tuna, salmon, white tuna). All that and a peanut sauce salad for just $ 14.50. It’s great sushi on a budget, but I really don’t think it tastes cheap. Sure it’s not master grade quality but I think this place does the trick. We also got edamame beans and while the serving size was large, they weren’t salted that much. There is limited table space and we did feel like we were rushed out of the place towards the end of our meal, but I wouldn’t hold that against them.

I love this place! Fast on in-restaurant and delivery, staff is super friendly, and good location. The dishes are all delicious — have to recommend the Astoria Roll and rock shrimp appetizer.

Love Junko! Tried other places in Astoria but I keep coming back to this place. The service is awesome and they do an especially great job plating their food. Delivery is SUPER fast. I’ve gotten it in 15 minutes a handful of times. Favorites are the six flags roll, ginger dressing, dumplings, and appetizers. So happy to have them in the neighborhood!

This place is just fine for sushi. The absolute best part are the dumplings — delicious sauce! Disappointed in the Ginger salad as both time I got it delivered there was wilting lettuce. Overall a passable sushi place.

Had rolls, sashimi, maki, soup, and salad! Every single one is pretty average. I’m commending the service though. Fast and friendly.

Best fried rice in town, my husband loves the duck and I get vegetable. He loves the sushi, and I the tempura. Their rating was low(B) for a while, but it is back up to «A» now, so we are back to regular customers!!!

After a couple days of gluttonous eating, I kept it pretty simple by ordering their lunch combo with 2 rolls– white tuna with avocado and Alaskan salmon with cucumber. Choice of miso soup or salad… I chose incorrectly with the soup, which was very weak tasting and inedible. The rolls however were fresh and delicious. They were made super fast… it took longer for me to decide on which rolls than it did for the order to be completed.

I’ve eaten sushi from all over & the quality(freshness) of the fish here is amazing! I got to talk with the manager and she was telling me how everyday they pick out the tuna they’ll be using for that day. I love ordering their avocado salad, the dressing is superb! Never thought something as simple as salad dressing could be so delicious. The location is also perfect, one could do their errands and eat great sushi easily. I was surprised that the prices for the food is what it is considering the food is amazing. This is my favorite place to get sushi, I never go anywhere else. Junko Sushi currently has an A grade-rating! Do yourself a favor & try this place out, it’s worth it.

Not my favorite, but it’s a convenient location and is one of the better sushi places in the Broadway area. The sauce for the shumai was really good. I used it on the Seared Tuna Salad we started with as well. The tuna was definitely not the best quality. You can always tell by the color of it. It was a lot lighter in color than the usual dark, bright red. The dressing was pretty tasty. The snow crab roll with avocado is my favorite. It was topped with spicy mayo that was not spicy at all. And we also had the spicy tuna roll, which had more filler than tuna. Probably won’t be back. But service was excellent.

Although I don’t find myself in Astoria too often, my friend lives here so I turned to him for Sushi recommendations. I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat before a Unilocal event and we found ourselves at Junko! Right on the corner along Broadway, it’s a place you cannot miss. I ordered the Shrimp Tempura roll and the Philadelphia Roll. They came out fairly quickly but were patient with us since this was a «catching up» kind of dinner. It was pretty empty with the exception of two couples. Overall, my sushi was delicious. The tempura was crunchy and not soggy. And the Philly roll, classic. The inside was clean and they even opened up the doors/windows to let the fresh air in which was nice. And the staff were very friendly. If I am ever in the area again, I’ll definitely be back!

Un des meilleurs restaurants de sushis que je connaisse. Les prix sont abordables, le poisson est incroyablement fondant.
