Latos Latos & Associates PC in Astoria, New York, is a law firm dedicated to helping people seriously injured in automobile accidents, construction accidents, bus and train accidents, slip trip and fall accidents, medical malpractice, environmental/​toxic accidents, product liability and wrongful death, through no fault of their own – due to negligence, or intentionally reckless actions of a driver, operator, employer, doctor, landlord, or manufacturer. In addition our firm also handles workers compensation matters, real estate transactions both commercial and residential as well as Estate Probate and Wills.

History

Established in 1991.

Two brothers had a dream, to go to law school and upon graduation begin the practice of law in the community in which the grew up. In 1991 that dream was fulfilled. Latos & Latos PC opened its doors. The firm and its successor firm has been representing clients in every aspect of personal injury and other legal matters.

Unfortunately in 2013, the one half of Latos & Latos, Peter Latos, lost his battle to prostate cancer at the age of 48.

Peters dream continues through his brother Andrew and the firm Latos Latos and Associates PC which continues to serve its clients in Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

Business Owner

Partner and founder of the firm, Mr. Latos attended St. John’s University (B.S. 1985) where he majored in Finance. Mr. Latos subsequently attended Touro Law School graduating in 1988. Mr. Andrew Latos along with his brother Peter Latos started the firm Latos & Latos PC in 1991. This firm and its successor firm has served its clients and the community for over 24 years. Andrew Latos in addition to practicing law currently serves as a Director for a local community bank.

In 2013 Mr. Andrew Latos founded the Peter Latos Prostate Cancer Foundation (PLPCF), whose goal is to bring awareness to men and promote early screening through PSA testing thus saving lives.
