Amazing dessert! I tried a few different pastries/dessert here and was in love with all of them. So good! Definitely coming back to try more and recommend anyone who’s around here! Try it and you’ll love it.

Absolutely loved this place. Its adorable with animated people speaking different languages, from different cultures. It’s a melting pot and I love it. The pastries are divine and the orange juice freshly made in front of your eyes. Their chocolate mousse is my favorite thing on the menu because it’s not too sweet. Every pastries I’ve had has been delicious, served with a smile. It’s a staple in Astoria.

Tried a sample of their mini sweets, along with macuccino and black coffee. We liked everything, the place has a nice seating both inside and outside. Will definitely come back when around.

I truly wish there were more French bakeries in Astoria. I lived in Paris for some time and this is about as close as it gets in the area. Are there more authentic in NYC, sure. But why get on the train?! This is a fantastic bakery with a good selection of pastries. I wanted to ask the pastry chef a question but I don’t think he spoke English or French. It’s Moroccan operated so maybe he did speak French and I didn’t catch him in time. The macaroons were pretty nice in flavor and texture and cannot find one similar without going downtown, so in the end, I’m happy. It’s a cute spot and I will be back for a croissant and espresso one morning soon.

This review is only for a takeout order of their cream puffs. They looked so delicious from outside that I had to have some. I brought them home and ended up throwing them away because they were stale and lackluster. The bread was old and the cream was an unsweetened paste. I can’t speak to anything else, but definitely don’t order the cream puffs. The inside looked nice and has a relaxed atmosphere for a quick drink and pastry.

Crème brûlée was good but the burnt sugar softens when it sits out. I had a nice latte with an almond tart. Also got a caramel Napoleon, and chocolate mousse, both were nice and not too sweet. An ok place for desserts.

Stopped by to grab a cake for a party and some coffee. Staff was friendly and helped with selection. Looked like a good selection of pastries. Would repeat.

I kind of feel bad giving the place a 3 star rating, but in truth there is nothing too special about this place. If I didn’t live so close I probably wouldn’t come here. The thing is that the food, pastries, coffee, and Moroccan tea are all okay. It’s just not spectacular or a place that you must try. That being said, this place does a lot of things to help itself out. It is clean, the people are friendly, and it is a nice place to hang out if you have the time in the morning(provided there is good weather). So in short, if you are a local, come on through. I recommend the chocolate mousse, any of the apple filled pastries, and a Moroccan tea.

Great bakery with French/North African inspired pastries and beverages. The chocolate pastries are made very well here and look good, too. The prices are also reasonable, especially since they use quality ingredients. Would be helpful if they just added a few cheaper pastries on the menu. They also have an assortment of different teas and coffees to try. The bakery is somewhat small and a tight squeeze if you’re eating in with a group of people, but the desserts make up for it.

The quality is just OK. This is true of the coffee and just about all the food I have tried. It’s nothing outstanding, but it’s not bad, either. I wouldn’t go out of my way to get something here, but it’s a great place to stop for a cup of coffee and a snack if you are in the area. I would avoid the macrons because they are pretty dry and the flavors more artificial-tasting than they should be. Anything with almonds is above average. They make a good almond croissant and a really good almond muffin. There is a display case filled with fruit tarts, eclairs, crème brûlée, and various mousse deserts. They’re generally decent but not amazing, perhaps not made with the utmost care and best possible ingredients, but at the very least they don’t taste like chinatown pastries, where the creators often swap out key ingredients for something cheaper. Prices are very reasonable, which is half the reason I like this place. The prices are not prominently displayed for all items, though, which can be confusing/annoying. I have affection for this place because it’s a nice, comfortable, clean space, and the staff are really friendly. It’s also the only french-style pastry place in the area. If you like Greek, Italian, or Middle Eastern pastries then this neighborhood has many options available, but Noisette is the only spot I know of that is even attempting to do the French patisserie thing.

Excellent. Noisette Pastries was super cool and very affordable, I am a huge fan. It was a wonderful experience. Great location, very friendly and polite staff, I’m happy to have this little gem as part of our community. Love the vibe here. Everything I’ve eaten here is delicious. I tried their macaroons — the best macaroon I have EVER had, top quality! On top of that the service at Noisette Pastries was AWESOME! Super nice people! Who could ask for anything more?! I am looking forward to my next visit.

Meh. Yes, once St Honore closed its doors on Ditmars, Astoria was left with no French bakeries. However, my visit a few days ago was completely forgettable. Granted, my gf and I came in for a snack, not pastries. Aside from tiny croissant pizza squares they have, which were decent and our croissants, which were decent as well, this place doesn’t have much going for itself. Maybe the pastries are good? I couldn’t tell you. Weak drink selection. Seating isn’t too welcoming or comfortable. Plus, the waitresses are as dumb as a box of rocks. Want a good French patisserie? Take the short car ride/bus ride to Cannelle Patisserie in Jackson Heights. It blows this place out the water.

This french pastry shop is so out of place on Steinway but who knows, maybe it will work because the neighborhood has no other European pastry shop. Since they’ve opened I’ve tried their macrons, strawberry shortcake, and chocolate croissant. The macrons are decent but definitely not up to the caliber of Laduree, on the bright side they are only $ 1.50 each. The strawberry shortcake was nothing I was expecting. Instead of a light, slightly sweet cake, it was the exact opposite. Don’t get me wrong, it was good but just a little bit on the denser, sweeter side. The chocolate croissant was a huge disappointment. They literally only squeezed a line of chocolate into that large croissant, they could have done a much better job of filling it with nutella. Overall, not a bad place but nothing I would run to.
