If you’re looking for a quality dog walker in Astoria, look no further because Vicky is the best. I’ve always been wary of giving my keys out but Vicky is one of the most trustworthy, reliable people I know. In the 5 years she walked my dogs, she never once missed a walk. There were times where I would be home from work and 5 minutes before she walked through the door, the dogs would go nuts! They just loved her. She helped me raise both of them. When they were puppies, instead of walking for a full hour, she would take the older one out for 30 minutes, then stay 30 mins with the 8 week old puppy, giving me updates the whole time, if he pottied, how cute he was, etc. Now that I’ve moved, I still haven’t been able to find anyone who does what she does. We could always call at 5 or 6 if we knew it was going to be a late working night and she would come over at the drop of a hat. It was like having an on call person who was there to help out. She even waited a whole hour to have our lock replaced when it broke one afternoon. To me, that’s going above and beyond the call of duty. If we ever move back to Astoria, you’ll be sure that Vicky will be walking our dogs. We miss her dearly!

Vicky is THE BEST — really a member of the family. She’s been walking our Boston Terrier since we brought him home, about 4 years ago. She’s absolutely fantastic and REALLY loves her dogs. Vicky is here rain or shine, every day. Not only does she walk the dogs, but she’ll take them to the park to play — really above and beyond, if you ask me.
Our dog loves her so much. He runs in circles and jumps around when he hears her coming — he just can’t get to her fast enough. She leaves notes to let us know what they did that day and if there were any issues (if our dog wasn’t feeling 100%, didn’t eat much, etc).
We just love Vicky. We always joke we can never leave Astoria because we’d never be able to leave Vicky. Can’t recommend her highly enough.
