History

Established in 2013.

The Saffron spice is the foundation of many classical Indian dishes as well as a great complement to modern recipes, making it the perfect namesake for the restaurant. At Saffron Indian Cuisine, we are committed to serving exciting Indian dishes that blend old world flavors with new techniques. Whether you are familiar with Indian cuisine or you have never tried it before, you can’t go wrong at Saffron. A recent addition to the NYC culinary landscape, we look forward to getting to know our neighbors and serving you warm and comforting Indian food.

Saiful M.

Business Owner

As a college senior, Saiful set out to implement his knowledge of civil engineering in a practical setting. He wanted to demonstrate his appreciation for Indian food by creating an establishment that magnifies Indian cuisine. Saiful’s motivation behind creating Saffron was to present traditional Indian food with a contemporary twist to New York’s discerning culinary crowd.
