The Toca Nyc Store is a treasure chest of hand picked antique furniture and home décor items, vintage conversation pieces, vintage accessories and jewelry for men and women for purchase. There is also a large collection of NYC Opera costumes for rent by appointment only.

History

Established in 2013.

We are the married couple Justin and Monica Toca that is the spirit behind our shop located in Astoria, Queens NYC. All our our items are hand picked by our «curious» eye from the Tri-​State area including upstate. By day we are NYC antique dealers, and by night we produce «TOCA NYC» themed electronic music parties in NYC. Justin has a history of styling and designing men’s wear and also creating high end upholstery interior design for the past 20 years. After working for ABC Carpet and Home in the fabric department he opened his own studio tin the city to design custom curtains, pillows and styling for his clients in Manhattan. Monica has a degree from Tisch’s School of the Arts with a background in Theater and Dance. Interior design, fashion styling and collecting have always been a hobby and an inspiration starting from a young age by her mother. Justin and Monica have always been told «They have a great eye.», and turned that passion into a business.

NYC party producers Justin and Monica Toca have been in the electronic dance music scene producing and serving fun for over 20 years. We decided to take our costuming styling for our monthly TOCA NYC party to the next level, so we bought a store’s amount of authentic vintage NYC Opera costumes when they closed their doors for good in 2013. With nowhere to store these garments we decided to combine two of our passions: «dressing up» with antique collecting. With that dream we opened our own brick and mortar antique store in Astoria, Queens NYC
