I I could give it no stars I would. Rundown, filthy, disgustingly managed, unfriendly, insulting front desk people, horrible. Any time you go you will have to wait a minimum of an hour and a half to two hours. If you complain, you will be insulted by some middle-​aged, nasty «Vaia» «Waia» (not sure how to spell her name, but you’ll know when you see her) blonde front desk clerk. And by the way, you are a «this» not a patient, not a person, but a «this» and if you don’t like it, don’t come back!!! that was her answer. They give you a appointment with no recollection of it, then they honor it (something good) but don’t know why you are there, and instead of getting your epidural injection, you can go home after waiting a frustrating one hour and forty minutes, cause they all left already. So if you get upset about it cause your back hurts, and it takes me One hour and a half to get there, you are told to not come back if you don’t like it, cause a I am sorry should shut you up, no right to be upset. Ah we called you on Friday to confirm your appointment, but you hang up, SO? whats that got to do with this? she tries to make you feel bad for something stupid that has nothing to do with anything, lol. She should be in a factory boxing fish, perhaps she would then understand the meaning of emphasizing with patience. NASTY!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!! Take your time and look for a good place. Unfortunately I should have complaint to her BOSS the first time she played smart ass with me, and should have read all the reviews that are out about this place, but, live and learn. So I asked for my medical records and am moving on to a different pace, even though I am about to go back to work, but still, they will not see a penny from Workers comp from my side again. NO GOOOOD!!!

Back in 2010 i started having serious back pain, i was recommended by my GM doctor to come here so i made an appt, after seeing two doctors, first i saw dr moosuzadeh, then dr demarco, both insinuated that i was either lying or overexaggerating about the pain i was having, dr m even told me im young and i shouldnt have these problems and i should exercise, at this point my pain was so bad i could barely walk, neither sent me for an mri, they only took xrays told me i was ok and sent me on my way
I was so frustrated and needed a good dr, finally i was recommended to dr krishna who took many neuro tests and sent me for mri, i ended up having 8 herniated discs and chronic nerve damage, i am still being treated by dr krishna and i love him, he treated me with respect and didnt doubt anything i said about the pain i was in. He made me understand the condition I was in and recommended several a different options .
At university of orthopedics the wait time is ridiculous, I once waited for 3 hrs and was in the examination room for 5 minutes, so not only do you wait extremely long but they also rush you out without answering any of your questions or helping you .
I seriously wonder why this office is consistently busy, I would never recommend anyone to come here ever !

Been waiting over an hour for my appointment, it is packed here. Giving up and never coming back.

It’s like a puppy mill for people on disability. If you are truly injured and need real treatment, go elsewhere. I must say, despite the crowded lobby, I was always taken in immediately. But rushed out by the doctors just as quickly. They don’t have time to listen (you are lucky to get 5 mins) and they will milk your insurance for as many separate visits as they can. Receptionists are sweet but messed up information multiple times, resulting in a major delay of treatment.
The worst part is that Dr. Moosazadeh told me my problem was muscle deterioration from a lack of exercise/​activity. «I know you had an injury but you just need to get out there and dance.» I had a major back injury! When I said I’d prefer physical therapy, he told me to do stretches on my own. We didn’t know yet that I had 2 herniated disks and 2 bulges, but common sense led me to ask, «What kind of stretches? I could mess up my back worse.» His response? «You’re an adult, you figure it out.»

The most DISORGANIZED medical office I have EVER been to! In February, an MRI for my knees was ordered by my PC, and the outcome was that I should have «gel shots». Was referred to University Orthopedics and was told by them that they would need several weeks to get approval from my insurance company and they would contact me when they received the approval. In «MAY» (three months later), I went to my PC and told him I never heard from University. He was shocked since it’s been so long, and I called them to ask what the issue was. I was told they «forgot» and would put the paperwork through right away (and would expedite it since they felt my ire.) Two weeks later they received approval and made three consecutive weekly appointments.
My first appointment I was taken in basically right away. My second appointment, I had to wait about 45 minutes, and they told me the were running behind. My third appointment, my wait was almost 1 ½ hours. I told them under NO CIRCUMSTANCE was I going to pay my co-​pay, and that I should bill them for «MY TIME». I was LIVID! They apologized and told me they were running behind, and I told them that this is what «PHONES» are for. To CALL the patient and let them know that they are SO FAR BEHIND and to come later, or reschedule.
I was going on a two week vacation, and I needed to come back for three more gel shots on my other knee. They told me to make an appointment for when I return, and they will put the paperwork through for approval for my other knee. If for some reason they did not receive the approval by this appointment date, they would notify me.
The day before my appointment, they called to «confirm» my appointment. I arrived 30 minutes late due to train delays. I waited another about 30 minutes until they asked me for my $ 30 co-​pay. I asked them when I would be going in to see the doctor, and they told me «now». I went into the exam room and WAITED and WAITED and WAITED. FOR 40 MINUTES!!!
Finally, I went out to see what the problem was, and was told that they «didn’t have approval» for my other knee!!! I was FURIOUS!!! How «INCOMPETENT» can a medical office be??? Did they NOT look at the medical chart when they called to confirm my appointment??? Did they NOT look at the medical chart when I walked into the office??? Did they NOT look at the medical chart when they took my co-​pay and called me in??? Did they NOT look at the medical chart while I was WAITING in the exam room for ANOTHER 40 MINUTES???
I demanded my co-​pay to be refunded on my credit card, and they obliged. MY TIME IS VALUABLE TOO!!! I am seriously considering billing them for MY TIME (and am most DEFINITELY sending them the receipt for my taxi ride home since I was so unscrupulously inconvenienced and lost so much time sitting in that office!!!).
I must say that the doctor who gave me my first three shots was gentle (no pain) and very, very nice. He saw how upset I was and sympathized with me 100% and said that this is completely unacceptable. Unfortunately, I will not be going back to him. Not because of him, but due to the horrifically inept skills of the staff.
The woman was very apologetic, but sorry… that doesn’t cut it. Three strikes your out!
Needless to say, I am STILL in pain and will be asking for a referral to a different orthopedic. I am COMPLETELY DISGUSTED with this poorly ran organization.
Additionally, I am contacting my insurance carrier to inform them that they are NOT to pay them as well for this visit, and will send this review to them.

This place is a disaster. My boyfriend and I both came here for the first 6 months after a car accident and received doctors treatment and physical therapy. The doctors office is always packed and you will most likely wait and hour and a half minimum each time! I saw the same doctor for 6 months and received pills, anti inflammatories and injections for swelling. When my pain got severe enough he finally told me he doesn’t do the surgery I needed and referred me to another doctor. This would have been fine, except we identified my injury and he collected insurance payments until i could no longer live without surgery. It’s a racket. This place is a joke. The physical therapy never changed or was adjusted after the initial evaluations. We did the same exercises week after week with no result and nearly no supervision. Absolutely no hands-​on therapy. After finally changing to a new doctor and better physical therapists I had surgery and we have both made progress. Bottom line, don’t waste your time, patience, money or energy here.
