Established in 2000.

It is our mission at Legends Salon & Day Spa to provide our clients with friendly customer service in a professional and unique setting. We believe our clients deserve the highest level of service and care from our experienced staff. We are a full service salon where you can receive treatments and services customized specifically for you and your lifestyle. Pros:
— I was «squeezed» in around 4 o’clock for a root touch up.
— Kevin discounted it because it was my birthday.
Cons:
— It says they close at 6 on weekdays but I was the only client in the salon and the other stylists had gone for the day by 4:30. Definitely made the job feel pretty rushed. The result looked that way too.
— He blatantly told me he normally declines people with (platinum blonde) hair like mine because bleach isn’t something he’s comfortable with, but accepted it over the phone.
— My roots were very spotty, especially in the underneath and middle places.
— You could still see growth between the newly touched up portion and my other hair.
Over all it was okay. Nothing wonderful. I’m glad my hair was done for my birthday dinner and it looked nice for photos, but other than that I won’t be going back.
**$ 50 was also the «discounted» price.

I just had my hair colored and styled by Aubree. I absolutely love it! She is very sweet and very professional. The salon is very cute inside as well. I’m very indecisive and Aubree gave her opinion as to what what look best.

Kevin, you are A W E S O M E.
Came here on a Saturday morning and waited a bit before I got a haircut.
All I wanted was a simple haircut to trim off my dead ends as well as take off my layers.
After a hair restoration wash, my hair cut, and a blow dry (this took give and take to an hour) and a fun easygoing conversation, my hair looked fabulous and felt healthier than before.
I am definitely happy and would give this place two thumbs up!

Was there in January for highlights and a haircut. First the color came out good but there was no finishing style, just a straight blow out, not even a round brush. For $ 140 I would expect a style but my bad I should have asked up front. Also, the conditioner she used was awful and my fine, processed hair was very tangled and difficult to comb out. I lost a lot of hair during the process of her combing it out. For the price and the long process of pulling my hair out I will not return. She is a very nice person and the color was fine though.

Kevin completely nailed it!!! My hair was in the worst shape of my life and with a birthday in just 5 days I needed a major makeover… I walked in with tears in my eyes and walked out like a BOSS!!! I am so happy and look amazing … He knows hair and is not afraid to take over make moves and have u looking great… Thanks again for everything see u in 7 weeks #finallygoodhair

I am a recent client of Legends. My stylist Aubree recently joined the Legends team.
I followed Aubree from Paso to Atascadero. I would follow Aubree ANYWHERE. She is the first stylist to listen to what I want then discusses how we can tweak my ideas, make them better and I end up with FABULOUS hair. I trust Aubree completely. I was a basket case before I found her. The last stylist I had just kept cutting and I ended up looking like a boy. My hair is now between my shoulder blades and layered beautifully. Aubree is also brilliant with color.
I am happy she has found Legends. The salon has a very comfortable feeling and is beautiful inside.
I really can’t say enough wonderful things about Aubree and her move to Legends.

Mandy B. is the best in town! I HAVE MY DREAM HAIR FINALLY!!! I have Mandy do my hair, as I am a very picky person, with thin fine hair. Mandy put in my extensions to add just a little volume and length (only about two inches longer), it matches perfectly, they move naturually, and no one ever asked me if I had extensions, and the girls at work couldn’t believe when I told them it wasn’t my hair (the seriously just thought my hair got longer, and just looked this and awesome all the sudden) ha ha I went to visit some friends, and they told me I looked so amazing and so healthy.
I ONLY let Mandy do my hair. She knows how to deal with fragil hair like mine, and she is SO CAREFUL. Being licensed myself, I am oh so so picky (more then the typical diva for sure!!) She is SO talented and so educated. I finally have the hair I have always dreamed about. Everytime she does my hair, I leave feeling beautiful and learning something new! Thank you Mandy for keeping the Central Coast Chicks Hot!!!

Aubree is the best! I followed Aubree from her previous salon because she’s fantastic! So patient, and really listens to what you want.

This morning my 2 year old son got a hair cut for the first time ever. His hair was very long, thin and I was a little apprehensive about cutting it. However, it turned out AMAZING! Kevin Rice, who cut his hair, really did an excellent job! I would recommend him to anyone. When we went there, the salon was so nice, clean and super friendly. I knew when I walked in my son was going to get a great cut!
It’s already afternoon and we have gotten so many complements on his hair cut. Kevin really took the time to listen to what I was looking for and totally accomplished it. He was great with my son, very patient and an expert in shaping. I’m so happy I found Legends Salon. I will defiantly be back and I will be bringing more clients with me. THANK YOU Kevin!

Lacy has been doing my hair for almost 5 years now and she’s amazing! She is the only stylist I’ve had who I trust completely to do what I ask and also do what will look good on me. She has cut, colored and highlighted my hair and they have all turned out so well. Not only is she very talented, but she’s also super friendly! From the first time I went to her she made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I would highly recommend Lacy to anyone!

I just had my very thick coarse and slightly wavy hair cut by Lacy. She did an excellent job on my hair. I went in as a walk in, I really needed a cut, and Lacy was able to get me in in under 10 minutes. My hair feels wonderful and she gave me some much needed layers to help with the bulk.
She recommended some hair care products to help bring out the curl if I choose, but that won’t leave it feeling hard and crunchy. She gave me a sample so I can try it before purchasing the large bottle.
She asked me questions about what I wanted before starting and at the end she had me check it to see if I was happy or needed more trimming done.
I had a great experience here and would recommend it to all.

Since moving back to the the central coast I have had a very hard time finding a stylist. But I am happy to say I have finally found one that can actually cut hair well.
I went to Legends on a whim and was lucky enough to get Shauna. I did not have an appointment but Shauna was able to take me right away… and I am so glad I got her.
First off I am VERY particular about how I want my haircut, she took the time to ask questions about how I style it and what products I use. She even suggested after looking at my hair that I might want a more square cut instead of the rounder cut I currently had… so happy she was able to see that! Most stylist I have tried, and I have tried a LOT just «phone it in» I suppose since I’m a guy it doesn’t matter to them… not with Shauna. I got an absolutely awesome haircut, and a great experience here.
I left feeling and looking good… and I even got complimented on my hair from strangers… that is a score! I will definitely be coming to Shauna from now on!

Mandy B saved my hair that had become a pathetic mess with roots half way to my ears and split ends for miles.
For the first time EVER, my scalp did not sting from the color, which is holding up better than it ever has. The cut she gave me brought me back to respectable woman status. I have thin hair and she managed to cut it in a way that gave it more volume and body. It’s not that easy to find someone who knows how to handle thin/​fine hair, and I couldn’t be happier. I believe she also does feathers/​extensions/​etc.
I highly suggest Mandy! She’s affordable and very skilled. No more box dye for me. I’ve found my gal!
