Tough Enough Cleaning

House was cleaned to satisfaction. It was not an above and beyond cleaning job, but they finished much faster than I expected (which cost me less than expected-​always a plus). The staff were very friendly and accommodating, however required some direction. Be specific about what you want cleaned or done and it will be done, otherwise it might be missed. They showed up about 30mins later than scheduled appointment, not a big deal if you don’t have plans. Also, I never understand why cleaners don’t move things to clean under them? Another thing to be specific about, they will do whatever you ask. My power went out for 20mins while they were cleaning, my bad, so they were a bit inconvenienced by me. Overall, 3 ½ stars! I would recommend them, but make sure to inspect and be specific!!!

Unfortunately, my experience with Tough Enough Cleaning was not a good one. It started off with a call 20 min before the scheduled time saying she would be an hour late. Ok, so I understand things happen… we finally get the ball rolling and I sense a slight attitude, perhaps because her day started off bad. She explains since she has a 3 hr minimum and there are 2 of them cleaning they would be there 1 ½ hrs and get done what they could. I figured my dads place is a really tiny one bedroom apt. with hardly anything (because he is 94 yrs old) and shouldn’t be a problem getting it pretty clean in that time. When I came back 15 min before they should be done, she was already packing her supplies up. I walked in and was surprised to find the floors not done or the cabinets wiped down! I am accepting responsibility for not communicating my desire that the floors be done over everything else since that is the reason I get a cleaning service. I also happened to notice that my dads medication pill box had been knocked over and they threw all the pills together which would have been really bad had I not caught that. I will say however, her partner did a FANTASTIC job on the bathroom and it did smell clean. I don’t normally write negative reviews but felt compelled in this case. I’m glad others have had a good experience with Tough Enough, just not me

We had tough Enough Cleaning clean our home yesterday. They did a great job. Lot’s of attention to detail. Couldn’t be happier with their work. Will use again in the future.

My wife has hired Kat and her team a handful of times now, and after every cleaning we both say how this is the cleanest our house has been. We’ve lived in a handful of different towns so have worked with a number of cleaners, and this is by far the best company we’ve ever worked with. Kat the owner is responsive, transparent and honest, not to mention very thorough in her cleaning — which is very important to us since we have a young child who manages to somehow fling food into all crevices of the house. We without hesitation would recommend Kat and Tough Enough Cleaning. Big fans.

Kat did a wonderful job deep-​cleaning my spare bathroom after some messy renters moved out. she even went into the adjacent room to spruce it up a little when she was done with the bathroom. I appreciated the follow-​up call after the work was done, and her business card is super cute! I will definitely use her services again.

It all started with a post card. It was very professional and I love her logo! We had sold our home and needed it to be cleaned after all of our stuff was out. We received a acceptable quote. What a beautiful job they did!
Now we are in a new home and needed someone to come and clean every two weeks. There was no question it had to Tough Enough Cleaning. Katherene Gatts has done a wonderful job with her business! In my experience, communication with each other is the best way to meet each other’s expectations.

Can’t give enough stars for Kat and her crew at Tough Enough Cleaning! Had a move out deep cleaning that needed done and they met my expectations and actually exceeded them! I will now be using them for bi weekly cleanings for my home they did such a good job! Definitely would highly recommend Tough Enough Cleaning for any cleaning needs you would have.

On Nov 19, I cancelled cleaning service with Katherene Gatts and requested a $ 200 refund on prepayments for November. After much grief and posting complaints on several websites where she advertises, I finally received a refund on ¹²⁄₂₁ – over a month later! I was a customer of Tough Enough Cleaning for a year and a half and always, ALWAYS paid Kat promptly or in advance for her services, so I think it’s unprofessional and unfair that she took so long to refund my money. Also, she did not seem interested in finding out why I was dissatisfied with her performance. She just seemed angry that I no longer wanted her services, like she had a right to my business.

I just love coming home to a clean house. When tough enough cleaning comes to clean I can sure tell they’ve been here! my tile counter tops are sparkling and the whole house even smells clean! I have hard wood floors and they use a steam mop to get the floors clean, which is a great way to gently clean them. Kat always reminds me the day before about our scheduled cleaning time. She is always on time and has never had to cancel. I highly recommend tough enough cleaning services.

I wanted to write a review of Kat, because I have noticed that as she cleans the women’s locker room at the gym where I exercise, what a diligent, hard worker she is. Her eye is meticulous and she doesn’t miss a baseboard or corner. Another thing that I have appreciated is that she’s focused on her job and has a happy demeanor. She actually seems to enjoy cleaning!

I have used Katherene for a few projects and have always found her to be, honest, dependable, prompt, fairly priced, and thorough. She does a great job with a smile!
