Specialties

Tin Roof BBQ is a family owned and operated restaurant that has been serving delicious barbecue since 2001. Tin Roof offers all of your barbecue favorites, like brisket, sausage, pulled pork, pork ribs, chicken and turkey. While our barbecue is superb, our menu is sure to satisfy any craving. We also offer sandwiches, salads, burgers, fish, baked potatoes, steaks and chicken fried steak. Our version of cheesesteaks was featured on the Cooking Channel’s Road Trip with G. Garvin.

Tin Roof is very family friendly and offers a kids menu. For the adults, we have a good selection of beer and wine to enjoy with your meal or out on our deck taking in a beautiful evening.

Every Friday and Saturday night we host music out on our deck. Music ranges from country to classic rock. We also offer karaōke on Thursday nights.

Tin Roof can cater any size group. We will tailor the menu to satisfy your guests. If you’re not in the mood for BBQ, let us know and we can satisfy any of your cravings.

History

Established in 2001.

Owners, Ronnie and Nancy Webber opened Tin Roof BBQ on June 5th 2001. They decided that after 31 years with the Houston Police Department, a BBQ Restaurant would be a great adventure into retirement.

The original Tin Roof BBQ building was a home located two blocks from Memorial Park near downtown Houston. A local developer was going to knock it down and build townhouses at the site. The Webber’s stepped in and moved the home to the Atascocita area. After retrofitting the house, it became Tin Roof BBQ.

The home was built by Mr. and Mrs. Pickens, and their children have frequented the restaurant and are very pleased that the house still continues on with a new history.

Over the years the restaurant has grown from the original house to several buildings with over 8,400 sq. ft. indoor and 4,000 sq. ft. of outdoor covered decking. A new addition has just recently been added to expand indoor seating, with the nicest country restrooms that can be found.
