Ace Windshield Replacement

I had an appointment with this company to have my windshield replaced. I wanted to drop my truck off at their shop, but the owner/​manager insisted I could not do that but would have to wait for them to come out to my house. We set up a two hour window of time late morning the next day, so I canceled my morning appointments, but left my afternoon open to work. On the day of, the technician never showed so I called their office at 2 pm only to be informed they would not make it that day. I explained (nicely) to them that I had lost several hundred dollars that day by them standing me up and not bothering to even call so I could at least work in the afternoon. Even though perturbed about it all, I decided to give them another chance and set up another appointment and emphasized the importance of showing up on time or at least calling if something came up so I could adjust my schedule accordingly. On the day of, again, they never showed and 48 hours later, have still not heard from them, not even a courtesy call! I lost nearly 2 days of work waiting on these people, and still didn’t get my windshield replaced. I have heard from another individual that this is the new norm for this company. They were apparently once a great company (see good reviews) but after changes in management have become unreliable with complete disregard for their customers. This business is one of the worst I’ve dealt with in my 30 years of adulthood. Steer clear, even if you have to pay more somewhere else!

Today was supposed to be my appointment. No go a second time! They cancelled the first one, calling the next day apoligizing for having ordered the wrong window. We rescheduled. Then I cancelled. The woman who I have spoken to left a message saying that the technician came to my house for the appointment and I was not there. I had cancelled the day before, via voicemail, and explained that I’d be able to reschedule for the week of ¹⁰⁄₆. I called to reschedule this past Monday (¹⁰⁄₆) and we rescheduled for today. We confirmed on Tuesday. At 12:40pm today (¹⁰⁄₈) I called to see when they thought they would arrive, I spoke to the same woman. Mind you I have not spoken to John, the owner and person on their voicemail. The woman said she’d call me back or have the technician call me… no call. I called back at 3:15, spoke to the woman, she basically said he’d be here, but was not to positive sounding. No technician. I called at 4:30. No answer. I have left seveal messages and sent several texts – no response. Not a reliable company. Diss me once shame on me; diss me twice shame on you. This comppany will not be getting my business for this replacement or the other work I need done. Overall their communication stinks in every way. Not a professional way to run a company.
