So, so weird. B&J’s is not the best or cheapest ice cream known to man, but just bizarre that this shop is the closest one to Metro ATL. People must like it and buy it, or it would not be stocked in every single super market. Having said that, Chubby Hubby, Chunky Monkey. This shop even has a few outside seats. Yay.

Great selections on ice creams and a friendly staff! Ben and Jerry ice cream never fails and their root beer float is also super delicious. During days that are warmer I love coming here with friends and eating ice cream on the outdoor seating.

My go to ice cream place whenever I’m downtown because honestly I can’t find another ice cream shop with the same quality around Athens. Maybe I’m not looking hard enough but I’m pretty satisfied with this place! Never really packed and service is always pleasant! Seats outside are great for when warm outside.

Too expensive for what you get. Nice employees, but Coldstone is way better. Not worth the wait I had for the price I paid.

If you’re willing to pay, Ben and Jerry’s is the best!

A three star rating is usually the«met my expectations» mark for most franchise establishments. Even the ever-marvelous Ben & Jerry’s. But this one has a person behind the counter who is very open about being serious about the ice cream she serves. She knows what to suggest and doesn’t mess around with the scoop. That combination of Bonaroo Buzz and Chocolate Therapy has totally capped off an excellent day in Athens. Thank you!

I’m always amazed by what has not been reviewed in Athens — one would think that a college town like this would have more of the young folk on Unilocal, right? So, first off, this place gets a major plus for being one of the few Ben and Jerry scoop shops in Georgia(there are 7 in the state and 5 of those are either at the airport or Six Flags). Whomever thought to put this one in the middle of the downtown area serving some 30,000 college students was a marketing genius. Also, the service is pretty good. Everyone loves the ice cream, it’s B&J. Standard stuff here — but the guy behind the counter was also great. He was running the shop solo on a Friday evening and was taking care of the customers quickly.
