We had a 20% off coupon. The front person quoted 109 for the room minus the discount, but never told me the rate. I get the bill in the morning and the room rate was $ 93.00. If you do the math, 20% off of 109 is not $ 93 — it should be $ 87. I called the front desk, she said she had to check with her manager about my concern. She came back and said that the manager said they could honor 15% off but not 20% off as the coupon stated. They have been slow over the Christmas holiday and had already discounted the rate from 129 to 109 and could not accept the 20% off coupon. Of course this is after I spent the night. I know $ 5 bucks is not very much to complain about, but, $ 5 a night times 48 rooms is $ 240 extra dollars a night or sales increase of $ 87,600 per year. Its just big corporate america screwing the little guy. Will never stay at a Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott., just because a Manager got greedy!

Best hotel at this price point, that I’ve ever stayed at. Everything is very new and thus nice. Lady at the front desk checked us in quickly and had the additional roll away bed at our room door quickly. If you’re trying to decide which hotel to stay at in Athens, this is the one.

This place didn’t appear on any map searches but it was great! It opened in 2013, so its nice and new. Everything was very clean. Accommodations were very nice. Bed/​bedding was comfy. We called at 1:30am on our way to the Gulf. This place didnt show up in google or Unilocal search and everywhere that did was booked bc of Alabama football. We called here and they got our room ready for us So when we arrived with our 18-​month-​old, everything was ready to go! Price was great; they even had a 15% off coupon they applied to our total for us. We got 2 queen beds for about $ 110. The late weekend checkout was great, and their free hot breakfast was really good. Only complaint was that the trash truck came at 430am and was really loud — and we were on 3^rd floor! But don’t miss out on this place.
