This is the definition of a hole in the wall but they produced one of the best chimichangas I’ve ever eaten. You should probably order takeout.

The food is great, the service is friendly(it helps if you can eek out a little Spanish), and the price is right. The ingredients are more authentic here for Mexican food — you can find lengua, tripe, and other meats that you can’t usually order in a restaurant. They have combo meals that are cheap and filling and come with a drink, which means that you can pick an agua fresca, which are specialty flavored drinks such as hibiscus, tamarind, pineapple, and«horchata,» which is sweet rice. These are SO good and different from what you can get in most places. I love to get the grande burrito, which is HUGE and loaded with meats, cheese, lettuce, tomato, beans and rice. I get this and then split it with my two kids, and STILL have leftovers, which heat up nicely for a snack later. My husband gets the three tacos and drink combo, and he picks a different meat for each taco. The salsa is also great here, though it’s made fresh so the flavor and heat change from day to day. The chips are so-so, so I use the salsa on my food. We come here at least twice a month. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that I save that for truly special restaurants.
