Melissa Lunt Photography

It’s not common for guys to do photo-​shoots especially if there’s no occasion (like a graduation) involved but I was tired of having crappy pictures of me on social media and sent to my family who live abroad. So I decided to treat myself to a session of photo-​shoot with a professional photographer. After looking at tens of photographers websites and Unilocal pages I decided to go with Melissa because I really liked her style of photography and the fact that her prices were reasonable. There’s NOT ONE THING that I didn’t like about the experience:
— She answered her emails very quickly.
— She suggested some awesome locations for the shoot, and you can also read her blog to see sample pictures from the locations that she has done before.
— She was perfectly on time on the day of the shoot.
— She has a great and fun personality and made me feel comfortable during the shoot.
— She knows how to make you laugh during the shoot to capture your natural smile. When I wanted to take a picture with a dog, she even knew how to make the dog look at the camera.
— She took hundreds of pictures at different poses that she suggested me to do. I really appreciate this because if you take pictures at different angles and poses there’s a good chance that at least one of them will turn out really good.
— She was patient and didn’t rush me during the shoot.
— She sent me the photos to preview an hour after the shoot with her favorites marked. I then chose my own favorites and by the end of the day I had my 5 chosen pictures in great quality, and in different versions (Black and white, etc.)
I really really liked the pictures she took of me. They are great from a technical aspect (lighting, etc) and also reflect my personality well.
I highly recommend her.

I recently had my first shoot with Melissa and was more than impressed. Aside from being punctual, friendly, funny, efficient, and accommodating (all excellent qualities), she is most importantly a very talented photographer. During my shoot we managed to use many backdrops, poses and outfits, making great use of time and conditions. She has a keen and quick eye for capturing personality and spirit on camera. Her photos are exactly what I wanted — personal portrait shots in natural light with an effortless feel. She even sent me the finished photos the same day! I can’t wait to work with her more. I HIGHLY recommend Melissa.

We recently contracted Melissa Lunt for two photo shoots with musicians and dogs. She was prompt, professional, pleasant and very easy to work with. It’s not easy working with animals and she was able to capture their spirit beautifully. She quickly delivered the photos to our group and we were overjoyed with the final product. She was able to capture the magical bond between man and dog with a wonderful composition and a fantastic use of natural light. I highly recommend her. As a bonus she has also donated her time and talent to take portraits of rescue dogs to help them get adopted. It’s nice to work with someone who supports animal rescue and makes her community a better place.
