Great little place with outdoor seating. Had the Parmesan grilled corn and an order of «Greek nachos» (consisting of fresh grilled pita, seasoned ground lamb, lettuce, onion, sliced fresh jalapeño, and a homemade tzatziki sauce on top). The «nachos» were delicious and easily could have fed two people. I enjoyed the corn as well. Will definitely be back again soon.

Just stopped in for an order of the fries, and they are really delicious! I plan on swinging by again on a nice day to have a meal at one of the nearby tables!

This place was great! We got the jerk chicken cheesesteak which as pineapples and peppers and onions, zucchini crisps, and sweet corn. The jerk chicken was on a sweet bun it was sooo good. It was all amazing!

Wow that was surprisingly good!
This tiny spot in the middle of two businesses has one of the best menus. Come out there and surprise yourself! No sodas, or bad for you stuff. Delish yes…(No booze, but you can probably BYOB and hangout there on sunny afternoon with some of your closest and make it an parking lot partay!

Atlanta is really stepping up their foodie scene, it’s the main thing I miss about living there! This tiny tin shack is just across from the Krispy Kreme and if you blink you’ll miss it, but it’s like a permanently parked food truck with a nice lady owner inside. My gbff absolutely loved his chicken Philly and I absolutely loved the super thin and crispy zucchini chips! Sitting outside on the cool floor mural while Midtown traffic zips by and the old Kodak sign overhead in the distance make for an eclectic and very urban-​chic snack time!

9^th Food is freshly prepared, and the owners are super sweet! Definitely coming back, I got the Wata Sandwich! Shawn L.

quietly one of the best restaurants in atlanta.
i had the wata jerk chicken sandwich & the «sweet and savory» empanada, both were stellar.
the chicken sandwich is a generous portion of well marinated shredded chicken, provolone cheese, peppers & onions & possibly a bit of mayo served on cocoa bread for $ 10. the chicken is juicy, the sauce is sweet and slightly spicy, and the flavors pair well with the provolone, but the real star here is the cocoa bread. holy shit. i’ve been to a lot of jamaican places and what they call «cocoa bread» is usually a glorified dinner roll, this however was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, buttery & rich and slightly sweet. a really solid sandwich, i might like a bit more spice to balance out the sweetness, but a very tasty sandwich I would definitely order again.
the sweet and savory empanada is a sweet potato and cranberry stuffed empanada skewered with a roasted marshmallow on top. first of all this marshmallow had no business being that good, this is far from the bs jet puft from my childhood, and is probably house made. the shell is fried crisp and the dough works well as part of the savory profile in the dish, and is dusted with powdered sugar. the filling really surprised me, rich, tender (but not overcooked), buttery sweet potatoes contrasted with tart cranberries dispersed throughout, the complexity and balance of the flavors of this dish were exceptional.
as a nice added bonus, the chef christine hooked me up with some fried banana wontons which were also delicious.
they have also somehow coaxed a homey bohemian vibe out of a small shack on ponce, pretty remarkable, really.
basically everything else on the menu looks good too. don’t know how or why it took me this long to eat here, but for the love of all that is tasty, eat here. often.

Wata sandwich! I had the wata jerk chicken sandwich with the corn. Amazing. I definitely ordered too much but it was all great. Can’t wait to go back!

First time ordering, and it definitely wont be my last.
I ordered the salmon bites and the corn fritters. The food is tasty, very good, fresh, and on point. This place has already become a favorite of mine. The corn fritters were very tasty and yummy. I’m generally not a fan of cole slaw, but this one I could eat a lot.

If I could give them 100 stars I would!!! Great, great, GREAT food!!! You must try The Long Way, the pink bites, and the zucchini chips! I plan on trying every, single option they have! I love it!

I’ve had the pleasure of trying their After School Special, Zucchini Crisps, and The Remix and all dishes were supreme! The food was seasoned and cooked to perfection ! Above all else the ladies working behind the scenes demonstrated a friendly, neighborly, customer centric mannerism. I’m definitely going back the next time I’m in the A!

I come for salmon bites but I end up getting just about one of everything on the menu the location is just what this area needs. Refreshing& new taste, healthy, and freshly made EVERY TIME. I’m excited about the new menu for the winter, although new, they never disappoint!
