We started from scratch back in 1992 with only a van, a ladder, a couple of blowers, and a desire to create the most professional and customer oriented gutter cleaning company anywhere. There were other companies cleaning gutters in Atlanta, but we felt like none of them really took care of their customers in a way which created a win-​win situation for both parties. Of course, we wanted to be successful and earn a good living, but wanted to provide a tremendous value for our customers at the same time. We believe this is the only way to operate a business and be successful long term. After many years of perfecting the way we go about our day to day operations we have become efficient, in the field and in the office, so that we are able to offer great prices, consistent professional service and fast turnaround times. Better Gutter cleaned my gutters mid-​dec. I noticed a massive clog with water spilling over the gutter in April. My husband went up with a ladder and noticed no leaves anywhere but in the clogged spot. I honestly thought they missed that gutter in December. When I emailed them on April 18th and explained the problem, I was informed the minimum service charge was $ 125. I spoke with the manager and we went round and round how the clog was recently formed. I told him I needed my gutter unclogged and please send a crew. The crew finally showed on May 8th. They were on the roof 10 minutes… No leaves anywhere but the clog. They unclogged the trouble spot and charged me $ 155. I told the foreman how unhappy I was and he was empathetic but the charge was still $ 155. Now we have no way of knowing when the clog was formed… But I feel taken advantage of… And I will not be using them again.

These guys seemed okay when I first contacted them. They said they charged $ 10 per bag and I asked is that price was deducted if I supplied yard refuse bags (the big paper kind) They said, «No.» that it was still a $ 10 charge when they used their bags. They said they used giant plastic bags and assured me that pick up would not be a problem with the bags that they used. Fast forward almost 3 weeks and the two bags –not for two enormous, too heavy for anyone to pick up bags — are still sitting at my curb. The trash guys will not pick them up because it’s standard procedure NOT to pick up yard refuse in plastic bags. So now I have to pay $ 50 to have a special garbage pick up for improperly disposed of yard refuse. Yeah… maybe dont use these guys unless you want to handle and pay for disposal of the refuse yourself. So mad.

As a woman, I never felt comfortable with this company because the men they send out are the kind of men who make you uncomfortable. They are just a little sketchy and whenI recently had to deal with the «managing partner», he was downright rude.
The last time they came out, I sat in my car and waited for one of them to get away from the gate so I could open it (I had just driven up). I watched him push the electric gate open as far as it would go. This bent the arm of our gate. I stood right there and talked to the «managing partner» about it, and he insisted it was fine and didn’t apologize. I forgot about it until he sends me a rude email saying that my payment was overdue. After paying the bill, I wrote him back to express my displeasure about the gate, his «follow up» email, and the way the whole thing was handled. He wrote me back and argued with me about what happened, would not admit responsibilty, didn’t apologize, and somehow tried to turn things around to put me at fault. For something he said didn’t happen. What?
I asked him, why would I bring such a thing up for no reason? I did not ask him to pay to repair the gate or say that I shouldn’t have to pay for the service, and I certainly have better things to do than argue with some strange man in my driveway and in an email exchange. All he needed to do was admit his guy made a mistake, apologize and move on, but he couldn’t do it., and he basically accused me of lying.
These are not the kind of strangers I want on my property. There’s not much to pick from in the way of gutter cleaners, but I’d rather have the gutters clogged than deal with these men. I found this company to be sketchy, unprofessional and impolite.

I had used them once before a long time ago and swore I would never use them again, but after trying some other gutter cleaners, thought I would try them again because other gutter cleaners left a mess and in one case messed up my gutters.
It took them 8 days to come out from when I first called.
They were supposed to call or email before they came out and did neither.
They came out and the tech said that the quote was too high for the size of my house. I’m not sure what they go by to get the quote, but I’m guessing it’s tax records which for reason counts my basement in the square footage. So the guy tells me that the house is small and he was going to knock $ 50 off the quote. And I say GREAT! because I thought $ 155 was kind of high (but knew they wouldn’t mess my gutters up). Then they said I needed a vent boot repair which was $ 75. So then they left and left the bill in the mailbox and he didn’t knock the $ 50 off the price! so now, my bill is $ 230 instead of the original $ 155 and the office people are saying that normally they will make some sort of note about it so she’s going to call him and see if he «remembers». Well of course he’s not going to remember. He’s probably been to 100 houses since then! I think all gutter cleaners are bad and I’ve pretty much decided that as much of a pain in the butt it is to get on the roof and do it myself and the risk of life and limb, I’m over it, ESPECIALLY THESE GUYS! they clean your gutters and your wallets too!
