I haven’t had a haircut this bad, ever. I want to cry. I was holding back my tears at the salon. Now I have to have this hair for Christmas and the New Year. I’m really sad. Had high hope going in with all the raving reviews. There is no shape at all, just looks like a scissor cut straight through all my hair at once. The highlight is OK. I’m not gonna mention the stylist’s name, because she did spend plenty of time on my hair and was nice. But I hate my hair!

It was time for a big cut for me. 8+ inches. My hair looks better than I ever could have imagined, all thanks to Ali at Alexander Salon. I showed her a few pictures and she knew exactly what I wanted. I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy with a haircut and color. So glad I found my new stylist and salon… I would definitely recommend this place!

At first I was skeptical about buying any deal w/​highlights on groupon bc most of the reviews about the salons said something about being treated badly because they were groupon customers. Fortunately I did not get that at Alexander salon!
Ali did an amazing job with my hair! I asked for a huge change and I got exactly what I asked for! My hair is really dark and I wanted to go as light as possible. I got balayage done. I’ve never done anything to my hair so I was nervous at first but I was so happy with the outcome. Everyone was really friendly and the customer service was great! The salon was so nice too! Definitely coming back!

Ines was amazing. I had an orange-​y ombré which I needed fixed ASAP. She did my roots, a few hand blended highlights and a cool tone. She did my first dry cut ever and I loved it.

I haven’t reviewed anything in awhile, but my trip to Alexander Salon warranted one ! I’m super picky about my hair, but I think I’ve finally finally found my hair place in Atlanta! Thought I’d try it out cos of a scout mob deal and the great Unilocal reviews — and wasn’t disappointed. Everyone was super nice at the location and shout out to my girl Brigit for just being so fun, helpful and giving me an awesome haircut ! Will definitely be going back there again !

I am very picky when it comes to my hair trim/​cut, and as a result of that, couldn’t find anyone I could trust in Atlanta for the past four years. I FINALLY found someone at Alexandar Salon — Inez is a new hairstylist who is an expert at the «dry cut» method. I have very long, thick hair, so I like to have many layers that shape my face & make my hair feel lighter. Inez is a master cutter and very friendly. I tried this place using a Scoutmob promo, and was hooked afterward! When it comes to hair, you really do get what you pay for. I would recommend Inez to anyone!

Raena does my hair and I love her and how my hair looks. It’s not many people that can do my kind of hair so I give her five stars.

I really enjoyed this salon. You get complimentary valet parking, as well as wine or beer during your visit. The ambiance is very modern/​Vogue, and while you’re having your hair washed there is an impressive gallery of competition pieces. My stylist did an amazing blow out/​round brushing and my hair looked fabulous. At $ 90 for a cut (including tip), this isn’t somewhere I would come on a regular basis.

After reading several great reviews, I decided to try Alexandar Salon and I’m glad I did! The salon is somewhat small, which I like, and very clean with a contemporary design, and complimentary valet parking is offered. My stylist Alissa, was very sweet and listened intently to my requests and decided that a dry cut would be best for achieving my desired goal, which was trimming my ends and correcting my layers. She did a great job of straightening my hair, which tends to be rather difficult for other stylists I’ve visited, so that in itself was impressive. She consulted me along every step of the way and I couldn’t be happier with the result.
Alissa has certainly gained a new client in me, and I highly recommend Alexandar Salon to everyone! :)

Alexander Salon is magnificent! My mother and I went there for the first time after purchasing a Groupon. I thought for sure we would be treated as second-​class citizens, but this was not the case. Alexander (the owner) is a very funny and welcoming man. Bridget did an amazing job turning my recently dark brown color into a beautiful golden blonde ombré. Ali did a fantastic job on my mom’s platinum colored highlights. I then went back for Bridget to put highlights in my hair, and she did not pull bleach all the way through onto the ends where my hair is already bleached from the previous ombré look, leaving my hair as undamaged as possible. She even gave me 20% off for coming back! This salon is truly beautiful… I will be back!

Great salon! I’m pretty picky when it comes to my hair, but Amber did a wonderful job. As soon as I walked in, I was offered a beverage (which was a plus!) and had a nice chat with Alexandar. He was so sweet and welcoming. Then, Amber took me back and asked what I wanted to do with my hair. When she was all finished, it was exactly what I had asked for. That doesn’t happen too often when you’re seeing a stylist for the first time.
Yes, it can get a little pricey for some people, but honestly I’ve found that when it comes to hair salons, you get what you pay for. I will definitely be back!

I debated about ever actually writing this review. While I don’t have anything bad to say about this place, I also don’t think this is the salon for me. There was some sort of scoutmob deal, and I used it (up to $ 75 off a new service for old clients, or $ 75 service for new clients). I’ve wanted to dye my hair red for ages, so I thought I would try this deal out and get a bargain color in the process. I made an appointment, parked my car with the valet, and entered. There were maybe two other clients, who seemed very familiar with their regular stylists. Brigitte was my stylist. She was young, but attentive and seemed eager to learn. She kept referencing Alexander, asking his opinions on the color process and a few other things for my hair.
Everyone was personable, but this place felt a little too Buckhead for my tastes. I’m not a pretty girl, so it makes me feel overwhelmed when I’m surrounded by well-​dressed people who like to talk. As I’m a very quiet introvert, it can be intimidating being around people like that. I had some images that were used for comparison for the color I wanted, and Brigitte tried her hardest to make sure it was what I wanted. She showed me hair samples, and talked about the hair coloring process. It was a medium red shade. I guess I should have spoken up and explained that I wanted a more vibrant, light sort of red, but the red she showed me seemed like it would end up bright and vibrant. I guess in my mind’s eyes, I was seeing a double process color, but she was trying to get me to save money, and she was trying to be helpful, so she suggested a single process color that I was assured would look vibrant. I should have spoken up, I know, so it’s entirely my own fault I walked away with a perfectly lovely shade of rich red, but not what I truly wanted. It was the first time I did something like that at a salon and I was nervous and uncomfortable, so this will hopefully be a learning experiences for me to speak up because I’m a lady, and not a mouse! (cough, Game of Thrones reference)

I followed Ali Swanson to this salon. & truth be told, I’d follow her anywhere!!! My fiancé & I both go to her.
I really like the salon, too. Great atmosphere, good vino, fantastic location. Highly recommend it! :-)

Alexandar is a master and the people in his shop are cool and talented. The salon has an elegant yet comfortable vibe.
I am overjoyed with my perfect color and cut. Tammy is an understated superstar. I love her woodland fairy/​surf girl natural waves and highlights. When I hit it big, she’s in my beauty posse.
