History
Established in 2007.
Alto Web Solutions was originally founded in 2003 as Technogistix — an IT strategy consulting and project management firm primarily focused on providing high-end business services that leverage technology to increase a company’s profit margins. At the request of a growing number of customers wanting to do business online we moved into Web Design and Internet Marketing solutions in 2007 to generate online sales leads for our clients. In September, 2010 the company was renamed to Alto Web Solutions — a more user-friendly name that indicates the nature of its business.

Meet the Business Owner
Richard D.
Business Owner
Richard Desarmes is a web entrepreneur with 20 years of technical experience in web development and search engine technologies. In 2007 Richard founded AltoWebs with one simple goal: to bring the power of the Internet and e-Commerce to small businesses in America.
In his 10 years working in Silicon Valley, Richard built the e-commerce infrastructure that allowed a distribution company to grow from $ 200 million to $ 700 million in 3 years. He was later in charge of the natural language search engine product line for another startup, which won several industry accolades. Most recently Richard served as Director of Web Architecture at the American Cancer Society where he worked with Forrester Research to build a world-class web team and develop technology compliance guidelines (PCI, HIPAA etc.) for mission-critical websites.
Richard is a board member of several startup companies and holds dual MBA degrees from the University of California at Berkeley and Columbia University.
