The amount of food for bucks, I was really satisfied. Wings were a bit salty to me but it was totally tolerable. I would visit here again.

Great wings. In fact, every wing spot needs to learn from American Deli… BW3 included…

For the price you pay, the food here is subpar. I could have made a better sandwhich out of my kitchen. The counter staff was not friendly. Won’t be returning.

I like American Deli– just wished they were open on Sunday’s. The wings are pretty small but pretty good. The French fries are always fresh and hot out of the oil. The philly is decent here as well and the fried fish is actually pretty good. Staff has been consistently friendly and cost line up pretty well with the exception of the wings. This is definitely a neighborhood place.

Sooooo once upon a time a friend of mine asked me to taste a wing. And since then I have been uninterested in any other wings. My favorites are hot w/lemon pepper sprinkled && cooked crispy w/vegetable fried rice and chili garlic paste for spice

I love chicken wings and Atlanta seems like the best place for them. But the hot has gotten a little nasty so I start going to hans off Bankhead. In the hood but good chicken. There is this fat girl at American deli who is rude. Point blank customer service stinks. Try j wings too

American Deli serves basic American fare: wings, chicken fingers, Philly cheesesteaks, Reubens, burgers, club sandwiches, fried shrimp, gyros, salads, and fried fish. Headquartered in Riverdale, there are many locations thoughout Atlanta metro, mostly in strip malls and shopping malls. This location can be found inside the Kroger shopping center on Howell Mill Road, next door to Elite Cleaners(dry cleaner). This is mainly a takeout joint. You can eat inside, but there are only three tables(seating four persons each). There’s an open kitchen behind the counter so you can see the employees cook your food. A half dozen wing flavors are available. They have an $ 8.9910-piece wing special which also nets you a side of fries, celery & blue cheese, and a fountain drink. You can order as many as 100 wings for $ 68.99. Expect to spend about $ 6.00−7.00 if you order a sandwich, burger, or gyro. The fried fish($ 6.50-$ 10.50) comes in two varieties, whiting and tilapia, and is served with fries and coleslaw. The fries here are the standard crinkle-cut variety. Fountain drinks(Coke products, including two different flavors of Fanta) are poured behind the counter. Condiments such as ketchup and seasonings, disposable silverware and napkins, etc. are self-serve at the counter. All orders, whether eat-in or to-go, are served in Styrofoam containers. I’ve had both the Reuben($ 6.99 combo) and Phillysteak($ 6.99 combo) here. They’re not bad. Everything is prepared fresh to order. Generally, these sandwiches are a bit on the heavy/greasy side. Unless you’re really hungry, just the sandwich alone is filling enough. The Reuben comes with corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut with Russian dressing on dark rye bread. The quality of the ingredients isn’t the greatest, particularly the corned beef. The corned beef could be cut/shredded better. I’ve pulled out an entire sandwich half’s worth of corned beef in one bite. The Phillysteak comes with grilled steak, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and white American cheese. It’s very cheesey and tasty, though oily and too much bread, not enough filling. The fries are about as plain as they get. Think mall food court or outdoor carnival fries. Restroom is unisex and has a funky smell. The front counter staff are nice. The business seems efficiently run. I do like how there’s a computer display facing you at the counter, which allows you to review your itemized order before paying.

American Deli wings are AWESOME!!! They’re small but I like them like that. And this location has great customer service. I don’t know the name of the female that answered the phone when I placed my order, but she was very pleasant and down to earth over the phone and in person. Since I placed my order over the phone, as soon as I got there and paid, my order was ready maybe 1 minute later. Oh and I can’t forget about the kool-aid or fruit punch(they call it fruit punch but it’s kool-aid!), that’s good too. And so are the fries! Thinking about this makes me want American Deli ASAP. You gotta try it out!

One of my girlfriends & I call it ‘American fatty’, or ‘American –Can’t-fit-your-jeans-anymore’. It’s like they put crack or something in the wings to make them SO addictive ! The fries with that seasoning they sprinkle on them… Delicious, the lemon pepper wings… they did this little Yankee girls heart good ! BUT, you better keep a gym membership if you plan on being a regular.

I absolutely hate this place. Whenever my dad wants to watch a game at the house this is his go to place. Every single time no matter what flavor the wings are they’re always soggy. Hardly anyone around does a good crispy wing. I wouldn’t waste my money on this place.

I had a chicken philly w/cheese, onions, and peppers w/fries at this location. It was truly pretty good. Aside from the lady behind the counter who seemed to want to kill herself because she hated her job so much. Who knows… Good food tho, and pretty quick too. Will come back to this location… Cheers!

I absolutely love the food. I give 5 stars for the food, and 1 for the customer service. From the wings to the salads I love them all. However, they totally lack customer service. The youngest girl in there who works at the register is very rude.
