Stop don’t do it! You might think yes Applebee’s is an established chain restaurant so you know what you are getting into… This place is the most unorganized place in the perimeter. We are sitting here right now watching people walk out. One table has been sat twice and we have seen both parties get up and walk out after not being served for over 10 minutes each! Corporate read this and take action!!! When we did get our food it was pitiful we had a couple bites and then I started writing this review. My husband and I have both worked in the industry and this was an experience we won’t forget anytime soon. So long Applebee’s:(corporate check the numbers the restaurant was at less than 50% capacity, and the hostess was a train wreck, kept chatting with table while we watched people wait and walk out!!! This place needs help ASAP. Corporate office you can walk over here and see this, make this your jewel not your shame.

First and last time here! Not only were they short staffed, they messed up my order 3 times. I could understand if they were busy but there were hardly any customers in there. The waitress never came back to check on us so I had to continuously ask for service from the host or another waiter. When my correct order Finally arrived it was cold smh honesty wasn’t even hungry anymore after waiting for so long and I was displeased with their drinks as well. All together service food and drinks sucked :(

Hosted greeted us quickly. Waiter came by two minutes after we were seated. Asked us what we wanted to drink and before we could get a word out he turned around and started helping out the table beside us. Seven minutes later and we still didn’t get our drinks. Waiter had an unpleasant attitude.

Close to work and conveniently located near shopping, Applebee’s is a frequent choice for lunch. An improved menu means better and healthier choices — yay. There’s never a wait for a table and the service is prompt and cheerful. It’s a bit off the beaten path for the area, making it a more relaxing destination than some other choices. Perhaps the biggest negative, to me, is the music volume: it’s a bit too loud for comfortable conversation. Not sure if it’s a corporate mandate but I really, really recommend that the volume be adjusted. If you have hearing difficulties, ask for a seat away from the overhead speakers.

I went here for a dinner for Veterans Day. At first, we were ignored for another man that clearly came in later then us. The food was sub par. We also had this screen on our table. We didn’t touch it to a game came up. It didn’t say any thing about charges anywhere, but when we got our ticket we were charged for it. Hidden fee that should have been advertised. So beware of that. Waitress was helpful though. Only good there.

The waitress sung happy birthday she sounds amazing. It’s worth bringing someone here to hear her sing.

Word on the street suggests that Applebee’s is what you would call a «boil in bag» restaurant, meaning the entire menu is shipped in frozen and is either microwaved or boiled in the bag in water, then served to we the customers, which would in part explain why I ate the worst turkey burger ever passed off as one at this location. No amount of mayo, ketchup, salt, pepper, or mustard could save it. To further insult me the server drone tried to tell me what I should like about eating this horrible meal. A bowl of corn flakes would’ve been better.

Can’t comment on the food, no one could be bothered to take our order. Got there around 12:30 on a Saturday, the waitresses were standing around chatting so they must not have considered it busy. After 15 or 20 minutes with no one coming buy to get a drink order, let alone take our lunch order we left. They definitely need to upgrade their wait staff. So we went to Chili’s down the street, were greeted immediately, and had great service by a staff that obviously cared about their restaurant and guests.

Went in at 4pm, the place was dead. Had to sit at the bar for a few minutes before we were greeted as all staff was in the back laughing and chatting it up. bartender emerges and wipes the sticky, dirty bar with a dry bat napkin. We slid down so we could avoid the now sticky bar with napkin stuck to it. The entire bar was a sticky mess. We had to ask for a place to be wiped. After the bartender was finished yelling across the bar to a coworker about her schedule. She then wiped the bar with bar napkin and little water. Very unsanitary with no cleaning buckets around. Sorry to bother the staff! We left.

We went after the lunch rush. Service wasn’t all that great. Our server brought our food out using his hands instead of using a food tray that could hold everyone’s food. My daughter had to go to the bar to get her refills for her soda because he was not paying attention. My friend had to send 2 items back and order something different because it did not taste good. I’m usually not a fan of Applebee’s and this visit confirmed why I choose to go to other establishments.

Omg John, the bartender. I went there for the first time ever, yesterday, even though I work in Dunwoody and I will definitely be going back soon and telling others about it. John our bartender he was so cute, so gorgeous. I loved his jokes, he was very entertaining and I loved his drinks. I honestly couldn’t keep my eyes off of him. Very attractive. I want to go back and bring my twin sister and my friends. When I go back he will receive a very, very nice tip, he is amazing! But not only that I loved the overall vibe of the restaurant. I will be coming back and bringing others.

I’m on a strict reduced calorie low carb food regimen and I won’t be able to eat at classy places for the next few weeks. So being allowed only a protein with no seasonings, oils, etc can be attained with chains like Applebees who have specific dietary accommodations on their menu. So we walked in at 6pm and half the restaurant was empty. We waited over fifteen minutes to be sat down as the unattentive host with the long wig style dreads was busy stacking menus and looking at his«bed baths and beyond» goodie bag behind the post. Things changed when Mercedes our waitress took over. She was super friendly and made up for the off start. Ordered the cedar plank salmon wrapped in. Aluminum foil with no oils and no dressing with steamed spinach and a mixed house salad with a full lemon and pepper. It came out perfect. Now please fix the first impression and the unnecessary long wait to earn a four star. Thank you applebees for accommodating my temporary food routine; I will return.

Went for dinner and my daughter wasn’t feeling well. She wanted either pasta. With just butter or chix fingers. They have a 3 cheese pasta w/bacon and spicy chix fingers on the menu for $ 12.99. I was going to order that with no cheese or bacon, add butter and plain chix but I didn’t think she’d eat that much. I ordered pasta/butter and the rang it up as the 3 cheese/chix dinner for $ 12.99. Won’t ever go back. I paid that much for her to eat 4 bites.

Went again on a friday night, and the service was much better this time around. Noisy atmosphere, but food was good and our server Tariq was more than accomodating. Love the jukebox.

Surprisingly, the food wasn’t bad at all. The appetizer was awesome! Spinach and artichoke dip with something I wasn’t expecting, not nachos! Thank god! Im getting sick of some restaurants offer nachos with thwir signature dip and call it an appetizer. For main course I ordered crunchy shrimp and it was great. 1015 pieces of decent sized shrimp. The greatest part of my dinner at the Applebee’s was Mr Terry, our server. I mean this guy was on point with the specials and was doing and asking for simple things before I could even tell him. I didn’t have to ask him to clear the table or for more water. Plus, unlike other restaurants I’ve been to in this past week when waiter hover over making you uncomfortable with their so called service. Mr. Terry gave us the appropriate amount of space and let us enjoy our food.

I’ve visited a year ago and I visited a couple weeks ago. The salad wedge was good. I’ve ordered steak both times. First time it was very good. Not this time. This time, they served me a skirt(think fajita) steak when it was supposed to be sirloin. It tasted like skirt steak, looked like skirt steak(the grain of the meat runs horizontal instead of vertical like a cut sirloin) and it was very tough and tasted overly tenderized with MSG(IMHO). The broccoli was steamed correctly, but the ground garlic gave it an odd taste especially with no butter. On the plus side, the menu is mouth watering to LOOK at. On the downside, poor draft beer selection. Would be nice to see sweetwater 420 on tap.

Just got Applebee’s to go. Food was ready when we got there. Didn’t catch the servers name but he was friendly. Food was good. My better half got the bacon cheeseburger and I got the margarita queso chicken and shrimp. Yum

Good service everytime. Food is displayed well. It’s a hit or miss sometimes with these franchise depending on the cook for the day. Other than that, this is a clean Applebee’s and isn’t as noisy compared to other ones.
