There are many factors that go into being a real estate agent, but the most important in my opinion, and experience, comes down to contracts. The contract is where a client’s financial liabilities lie. I tend to view my role somewhat like risk management. All parties to a transaction will take on some level of risk. It is important to me that my clients understand the potential outcomes and options, so that they can make the decisions that are best for them individually and to mitigate risk as much as possible. I also take my fiduciary duty to my clients very seriously, negotiating firmly for their best outcome. When I became a real estate agent, I thought I would love showing homes, being that I had an interior decorating background; however, while I do enjoy that aspect on both sides of the transaction, I love contracts, and I train to make sure I know them well.
History
Established in 2009.
In 2009, I left a career in National Account Sales for BellSouth, and then AT&T to become a REALTOR. I brought the consultative focus I had in that business with me to the real estate profession. I began my real estate career with Fourteen West, REALTORS in Morningside, training one-on-one with Scott Askew, who has served on the Atlanta Board, FMLS Board and GAR Board over the years. In 2014, Fourteen West became Engel & Voelkers Intown Atlanta with an improved national and global presence.

Business Owner
When I was a little girl, my brother played on a traveling soccer team, and I traveled with my family to attend his games. In an effort to appease me, they would drive me around the cities we visited, including Atlanta on many occasions to «ooh» and «ahh» at the homes. It seemed a natural fit when I left corporate America that I would take that life long interest and build a new career around it. I love helping people achieve their goals in relation to home, be it finding a new place to call home, or selling their home, so they can move on to a new adventure in life. I did have an interior decorating business for a while, so I do love helping people see what a home can be. And home isn’t just four walls anymore; it’s your neighborhood. I live in Poncey-Highland on the Beltline and love walking to enjoy all that the surrounding area has to offer. So, I enjoy working lifestyle into the puzzle of putting the right buyers with the right home, whether I represent them or the seller.
