Assurance Taxi

This business had previously been reported by Unilocalers as closed. However, I most definitely took a cab that identified as Assurance Taxi from the airport. The cab was old and multiple warning lights on the dashboard were lit. This should have been a red flag that the car was poorly maintained. This became apparent as we pulled into heavy rain and the wiper blades were ineffective. We were weaving around on the highway as the filthy inside of the windshield, combined with ancient wiper blades, made it impossible to see where the lanes were.
The cab driver was also mostly deaf. I tried to tell him where I was going, then tried to give a landmark, and finally gave up and just yelled «DECATUR!» I tried to give him directions as we got closer, yelling and gesticulating where to turn. But as he was deaf, he drove past 2 turns because he couldn’t hear me shouting from the back seat. The only reason he gets 2 stars is because I ended up at my destination.
