Atlanta’s Pick of the Litter

Starting at a busy new job, I was a bit nervous about whether my husband (whose job is equally demanding) and I could handle a new puppy — but it was love at first sight, and so we were quite fortunate to find out about Jessica! She has made juggling puppy and work life so easy — and affordable too. She’s always available by phone, e-​mail, and text; the times that work emergencies have come up and we have needed to change up the puppy care schedule, Jess has been happy to oblige and fill in.
Our building in midtown is also somewhat difficult to deal with (key fobs, semi-​functioning elevator, lots of construction recently, etc.) and Jess has never complained. Our puppy — a 16 week old labradoodle — is just learning the basics: walking on the leash, not trying to put the whole world in her mouth, etc. Jess has been attentive to her needs; I leave her a weekly update about what we are working on in puppy class, and Jess reinforces during her visit.
But my favorite part of working with Jess is the daily report after her visit! Today she texted me a funny picture of our dog on their walk together… totally a pick-​me-​up during the work day and lets me know our puppy is in good hands.
This is our first experience using a dog-​walker, but I cannot imagine there is a better one in Atlanta.

Jess came into our life when we brought home our miniature goldendoodle, Gibson. Gibson is my first pet and first experience with maternal love so I must tell you I am a little obsessed. I have been so fortunate to have Jess to ease all my worries. Here are a few of my favorite things about working with her:
— communication: I get a daily note about her time with Gibson that sometimes has a photo!
— flexibility: I travel for work and change days on her all the time. Jess is always ok with my odd schedule
— reliability: she is always there when she says she will be
— normal: I was worried when I first entertained the idea of bringing someone into my home but there is nothing to worry about with Jess. She is trustworthy, honest, and a great person all around
I now can take a meeting at lunchtime and know Gibson is loved and cared for just the way I would do it.
