They were very busy, appeared to be understaffed. However there was a ‘hiring’ sign outside. My husband and I were a bit worried as we were very limited on time. The service was quick, so no complaints there. We started with the miso soup and the crab ragoon. The miso soup was flavorful and delicious. The crab ragoon was ok for my liking. My husband ordered the Thai Rama w chicken. It was fresh and tasty. I had the pad Thai and it was amazing! I will def go back for the Pad Thai!

The servers are great, but the management is awful. The owner is never there and blames employees for small mistakes he can fix himself. I would love to return for the servers, but the owner knows nothing about running a business.

Love it every time. Best pad Thai I’ve ever had. And it’s gluten free! Which is so hard to find good Asian cuisine when you have celiacs. Bertha is the best. She’s the sweetest person and is always coming out with recommendations which has never failed me. Definitely my favorite restaurant.

Went there in a Sunday night with just a handful of tables full. The service was good. Food however is another story. Spring rolls came out fast and hot. But our meal was completely cold and took forever. We ordered Red curry with Tofu and Spicy Thai Basil Chicken. The sauces were cold and when I took a bite of Tofu, it was ice cold from center. Chicken was cold too. Rice was so hard and cold we couldn’t even break in to it with a fork. Ugh! We complained obviously and they took it back and heated it up in microwave. Now it was somewhat warm but chicken got hard and rubbery. We ate it b/c we had two hungry kids with us but we will never return. Sad food. Use of Scoutmob made us feel bit better but they did add 18% gratuity(which not many places do for a party of 4). I guess they knew we were not happy.

The service was VERY good along with the food. I got the coconut soup(with other orders to go) and it did not disappoint by any means. Could have ate more if had time. Did not eat the sushi but looked very fresh

I see Bangkok Thyme every opportunity I get — the Thai food and sushi are both rather yummy! I have not found a better Pad Woon Sen dish everywhere, and their sushi developments are constantly surprising and pleasing! I have sent all my friends and family here and have received nothing but rave reviews, it is a must-visit!

I’ve been here numerous times and never had a bad experience. This time, instead of ordering thai, I decided to try their chirashi bowl. YUM! ANDBIGPORTION! They opted out of the shrimp for me since I’m allergic. An assorted variety of sashimi on top of sushi rice which in my opinion is the best way to devour sushi and appreciate its rawness. :) the hot sake we ordered for two was also a big portion. I was tipsy from 4 or 5 small cups to sip on! Can’t wait to come back again. The 1 star not given was due to the fact we shut down the place and they started turning off the lights on us while there was also another table there too! That’s kinda rude but we got the hint…

I’m a newbie to Thai food and really enjoyed the food! They have great sushi specials as well. The Pad Thai is REALLY good! We also got the hibachi style chicken and shrimp which I didn’t like as much. really neat and quiet atmosphere, will definitely come back

Authentic Thai food located inside the perimeter. Ask for Bertha, she’s a friendly & knowledgeable server. Spring basil rolls with a peanut sauce & spicy Thai basil with ground chicken are exceptional dishes. Going back for more!

Went there for lunch. We ordered 3 dishes plus dessert. Pad Thai is good– very flavorful. Bangkok chicken fried rice is good. I did not like the massaman curry, it didn’t taste right. We ended our meal with mango sticky fried rice and it was great. The service is good! Will come back again.

We are a huge fan of this place! The basil rolls are fantastic along with their soups. The thai food is very authentic and delicious and the staff is very friendly and super fast! Hands down I’ve had the best sushi here!

Love this place. I like the fried bagel rolls. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. The food is good. When I ordered sushi from the happy hour menu the rice was a little dry and the rolls just seemed like they had been sitting for a while and weren’t freshly made. Love everything else. I go about every three months or so. Tasty and reasonable prices.

Unilocal wants to know… what keeps me coming back? Hmm how about the Happy Hour from 5:30p — 7:30p Mon-Fri …or how about the great Pad-See-Ew. I must say that this place is pretty darn good. The prices aren’t crazy and the food is great. Be prepared for a possible wait for seating and food service in general on a busy dinner night. I went on a Thursday evening and they warned us the service would be slow. Seemed strange that on a Thursday night for dinner — even though the restaurant was busy — they couldn’t keep up with the service. Nonetheless, the food was great. The Pad See Ew was great. It had a nice balanced flavor and they did a great job with making it spicy as requested as well.

Really enjoyed the pad Thai here. You can sort of customize your dish by noodle type and spicy level.

Definitely a must try. Our first night in Atlanta and didn’t want to go too far to eat good food. We were just driving around and chose this place at random. Once in, the ambience transports you elsewhere. The interiors are very well done to give a local feel. We were instantly greeted and seated. This place gets crowded and it’s a great one. We ordered egg rolls, chicken clear soup, chicken and prawn skewers, Thai basil rice, mango and sticky rice dessert. All of which was so flavorful and delicious. Was pleased with the service too.

I love coming here for lunch. It’s never too busy and they serve you quickly. I started with the Chicken Coconut soup– it has large mushrooms it with shavings of chicken. It was very smooth and delicate. A great start to my meal. My lunch as a soft shell crab salad– the crab was over fried so it was crunchier than I am used to. It came with red and green grapes, carrot shavings, and romaine salad with ginger dressing on the side. If they can get the crab right, it has lots of potential. My friends got the sushi– its great and fresh. Another friend got the combo: you pick a curry dish, sushi pieces or rolls, edamame and a salad. She loved it. Overall I love the different options for food, the fact that you can get a box with a little of each thing. I’ve also tried their Pad Thai which my friends agree is amazing here.

I really wanted to like this place, but I just couldn’t bring myself to even give this place 3 stars. The Unilocalers I followed gave these place great ratings, but then I realized their reviews were written at least over 4 years ago. Is this a sign of the restaurant not caring anymore? Cons: — Finding a hair in my rice. We had a waitress that seemed to not really care and just came back with another serving of rice. No apologies at all. No comping or adjustment on the bill. It’s as if they wanted to pretend it never happened. — We received a wrong dish and we let them know so. They had to re-cook it and later told us our original dish was served to the wrong table. This throws off the flow of the evening, having someone at the table watch the others eat. — Portion of rice with curry. This is small as in smaller than a bowl of rice small. C’mon. It’s dinner time, not lunch. Pros: –Décor is nice and there’s outdoor seating. — Ordinarily, I’d say that a place that serves Thai and Sushi is weird and just kidding themselves with their sushi, but I was actually interested in the sushi here. Given how bad service was and how we had a hair in our food, no, thank you, I won’t be returning.

I could eat sushi every day and thanks to Bangkok Thyme, I am here once a week, at least. You know why? SUSHIHAPPYHOUR. Happy Hour details(because that’s what really matters) Monday though Friday. Five.Days.A.Week. Hours are 5−7pm. But on Monday they take it all the way to 10pm. Whats on the menu: your normal low keyed rolls: Calfifornia, Tuna, Shrimp, Crab Salad, ect. Your normal nori pieces: Yellowtail, Tuna, Salmon, ect. Some appetizers and some beers. Also a house wine or two. The price: Rolls are $ 2 for a four piece. Nori is $ 1 or $ 1.50 a piece. I am normally very happy with my selections! I am a big crab salad fan and they are my favorite got to spot for that roll. I don’t need a bunch of stuff on my sushi just quality fresh fish and I am happy. I have had lunch and dinner there so the special rolls are excellent and the Thai food is delicious! I am a fan of red curry and their red curry lunch special with coconut soup and some rolls hits the spot. My niece ordered the pineapple curry fried rice and was very happy with her selection. Customer service is always great, I often go alone and they are very attentive. A lot of people bring their kids here so be prepared if you are considering a romantic date, The parking can suck, and if its packed you have to park in the back and walk around. They have on-line ordering but you have to pick it up. The place is small so not sure how it would work for large groups.
