Best eggs and great for those with diet restrictions. They have made some great improvements when it comes to service, we stop going for a while because the service was desperately lacking. Now they have turned a corner and the the derive is right up there with the food. When you go ask for Shannon, he made us laugh but wasn’t hovering the whole time and really did make the experience worth right a review for. Give it a second chance if you have had a bad experience in the past.

There were six of us from our prayer book club for Saturday brunch. Already, we were just excited to be together however; our waitress {{{Chesna}}} was the highlight of the restaurant. She served us like we were guests in her home and was solicitous about our enjoyment of our food. Imagine six women with different ideas of how they wanted their meal. I was impressed by the spirit of excellence here. Oh and the food was good too Had the salmon with brussel sprouts and sweet potato fries. Everything was very good. The Salmon was very fresh and well seasoned. I will definitely be back.

Food was average for Southern cooking; service was a bit lacking. Nothing to write home about, but if you want southern comfort food, this will suffice.

Great food and excellent service from Shannon! I was under the weather so had chicken stew. It was amazing and had a homemade cheddar biscuit with it! Would definitely go back and try the chicken and waffles. Looked amazing!

Love, love, love this place! First time here and developed a long-lasting friendship over their cheddar cheese waffle and fried chicken. The service was awesome and the food was fresh and hot. This location is very chic and«flowey». Loved the relaxed atmosphere. This was the first and definitely not my last time coming here for breakfast. Even better, they validate parking if you park in the garage.

While visiting for work, I decided to check out this place based on positive reviews from my Atlanta native coworker. I had the chicken and cheddar waffles. Uhh… cheddar waffle?! YESPLEASE! It was fluffy, savory, and oh so perfect paired with my crispy fried chicken. I also ordered a side of the jalapeño corn bread and even if the waist of my pants tells me otherwise, I don’t regret that decision one bit! The service was great and very quick during the lunch rush(thank you, Chesna)! I will most definitely be back the next time I’m in town!

We went for breakfast. Staff was pleasant. My pancakes were delicious. The fig butter really makes them different and steps it up.

Let me start with the pros Food was good Ordered waffles and chicken Western omelette Omelette was filling came with grits Waffle and chicken was great Chicken tasted delicious Now on to the cons Service was terrible and they didn’t even know it It’s like someone just threw some random people in a restraint and gave them a pen and paper They was confused Had to ask for water multiple times Waitress thought we was in a dishwasher She left the plates from the appetizer on table the entire meal making to space on the table small So many cons with the serving game It was weak brought them down to 3 stars Overall I wouldn’t come back in my own but if a friend really wanted to or if I was hungry and it was nearby or it was free

If you haven’t checked out this place, tucked away on Crescent you’re missing out. Out of all the locations they have(and they are all great) this one is hands down my favorite! Food is delicious. I bring all my visiting out of town friends here and they love the service and the food.(Cheddar waffle with bourbon pecan syrup!). They always ask to come back. I always sit at the bar, and you should too so you can let Chris make you a fantastic drink.(He’s also awesome btw) Recommend Southern 75(if you like gin) or a bloody is always good for a Sunday. Food is great. People are great. A definite must try! Side note: have also done catering here for a work event, great as well. And super friendly.

Bantam + Biddy Midtown opened January 2014 in the mixed-use 12th& Midtown development. The restaurant faces Crescent Ave. across from BurgerFi. Parking, validated for up to two hours, is available in the 1010 Midtown building parking garage. The garage entrance is located directly next to the restaurant. The restaurant also has a back entrance/exit connected to the garage. There are multiple Bantam + Biddy locations in the Atlanta area, the original being at Ansley Mall. Sister restaurant Chick-a-Biddy is located in Atlantic Station. I’ve been to the original Bantam + Biddy as well as Chick-a-Biddy and am a fan of these restaurants. The thought behind them is to provide high quality, all-natural, local, farm-fresh, healthy restaurant food that is affordable. I think it’s a great concept and they’ve seemed to delivered on their goal. There need to be more restaurants like this. I first visited Bantam + Biddy’s Midtown location for a Unilocal event shortly after the restaurant opened( ). At that time, we got to meet co-owner Shaun Doty and sample several dishes on the menu such as: * Spicy wings, peanuts, pickled radish * Fried eggplant, miso sorghum dressing * Fried free-range chicken tenders * Hot boiled peanuts * Poutine, duck fat fries, local cheese curds, chicken gravy * Pimento cheese, veggies, brown rice crackers I’ve been back for dinner. I’m happy this location opened and prefer it over the Ansley location because it’s not nearly as busy, particularly in the evenings. Bantam + Biddy is a casual, sit-down restaurant. There’s patio seating out front on the sidewalk. The interior looks nice, kind of like a modern Southern diner. There’s a wraparound bar, a couple TVs, and assorted seating arrangements including a counter that faces out onto the street. During the daytime, the space is brightly lit by natural light. «Bantam» and«Biddy» are words used to describe poultry, chicken, or hens. The restaurant specializes in chicken of the rotisserie variety, though they serve the meat in other styles as well(e.g. chicken tenders, chicken & waffles). Entrée examples include meatloaf(I’ve tried this at the Ansley location and like it), pork schnitzel, and sauteed Maine salmon filet. There are a bevy of organic vegetables along with many gluten-free options. Expect to spend about $ 10 per person if ordering a salad or sandwich and $ 12 – 15 per person if ordering an entrée with sides. There are no separate lunch and dinner menus. The chicken here is tasty. The chicken is free-range and pastured from regional farms. Whether you order the ¼ chicken or ½ chicken, you get pieces of white and dark meat by default. Of course, you can request all white(costs extra) or all dark, and skinless too. You can taste the better quality. The chicken is tender and not greasy. The rotisserie chicken comes with your choice of sauce. They’re all housemade. I recommend the piri piri(African bird’s eye chili) if you want a spicy sauce. I like the wasakaka which is a warm Dominican sauce made of garlic and parsley. It’s mildly spicy. The sides are healthy and terrific. They include Anson Mills red peas and rice, kale salad with wheat berries, and ratatouille(French stewed vegetables). I’m a fan of the pickled beets and goat cheese. The beets have been seasoned with salt, olive oil, and pickle juice and go perfectly with the smooth and creamy goat cheese. I also like the broccoli and farro salad with Vidalia onion dressing in addition to the organic quinoa and spinach salad. The latter is more simple, raw, and good for you. The broccoli in the former is chopped and tossed with farro grains and dressing, making for a flavorful salad. On certain nights, there are $ 3 sliders. I’ve tried the BLT(bacon, lettuce, tomato) slider and it is outstanding with a lightly toasted bun, tomato, delicate red leaf lettuce, and thick, hearty strips of smoked and peppered bacon. It’s good stuff. They have half-price snacks happy hour Monday through Friday, 3pm-5pm(all B+B locations). Every Tuesday after 6pm, you can buy one entrée and get the second half off(this location only). Service is fantastic. Everyone is friendly, attentive, helpful, and accommodating. Shout-out to server Stoney and co-owner Lance Gummere(he’s awesome). This Bantam + Biddy location is busier at lunchtime than it is for dinner. If you park in the 1010 Midtown garage, don’t forget to ask your server for a parking validation ticket on the way out.

Bantam and Biddy is walking distance from my office so I stopped by and had lunch here. We both ordered the rotisserie chicken lunch special. It comes with chicken, cornbread, and a side. The mac and cheese was spot on, perfectly cheesy. I really liked the interior of the restaurant. It felt very Nashville, with the white walls and the American flag. Service was quick, food came out fast. No complaints! Would definitely recommend this for a quick lunch. There’s also outdoor seating.

Nice portions for an egg scramble with chicken. Service was ok even though I was the only one in the restaurant on a Thursday morning. They have parking validation though!

Breakfast review only. When in Atlanta, you must come here to start your day right with a big old Southern breakfast. The Southern — cheesy grits, spiced collards, crispy bacon, eggs, and cornbread. Perfect! Chicken and waffle — a delicious cheddar waffle and fried chicken tenders. Make sure you ask for the pecan bourbon syrup. Excellent!

The staff there was so incredibly nice, I really cannot describe how welcoming they were — super nice people! I hope you’ll find the same reception that we did. Needless to say, we had our drinks right away and were soon perusing the menu in search of something fantastic. Melanie locked onto the Chicken & Waffles. We’d heard this combo before but had never tried it. She was eager to take a stab at it. I couldn’t quite gear up for that and the thing that caught my eye was the Wasabi Honey that comes with the Chicken Tenders. But even loving wasabi the way I do, I didn’t see it blending well with honey. They would have to convince me. We decided to start the meal though with the Pimento Cheese appetizer. We’ve been on a pimento cheese kick ever since our visit to Phickles Phun Foods in Athens. So far we’ve not found anything that was as good as their pimento cheese spread. The appetizer comes with some of the best crackers known to man along with celery and carrots. It’s a grated cheese in a pimento sauce so it’s best spread with a knife. It is delicious though and an excellent beginning to a meal. When our entrées arrived, I was ready to move on and I could not believe how hot the chicken was! I could barely pick it up it was so hot. BIG plus in my column, as I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE food served HOT! I selected the Cheddar Mashed Potatoes and Cheddar Mac & Cheese to accompany my meal. The potatoes was the unexpected surprise! I’m not sure what they put in them, but they were totally awesome. The Mac & Cheese though was far more predictable and I wish I had tried something else. I thought the chicken was battered just a tad too heavy for my preferences but had a nice flavor. Since they were piping hot and obviously just came out of the fryer, they tend to have some more grease than I would like but what’s fried chicken without it? The real eye-popper was the Wasabi Honey. This was so amazing! I really loved it! I can’t wait to try it with the leftovers. Melanie loved her Chicken & Waffles. She really enjoyed the waffle and though she felt the same way about the grease as I did, but she thought the batter was just fine. She was really wowed with the flavor of the meal. She was especially fond of the Bourbon-Pecan Syrup and the Vanilla Bean Apple Sauce. She was still raving about each in the car on the way home. I tried the Cornbread but thought it was just a little dry and the jalapeño a tad overpowering. In general, I don’t like cornbread served like a little muffin. I’m a traditionalist when it comes to cornbread and like to see it prepared in a pan or cast iron skillet. Melanie liked the flavor of her biscuit but thought it was a little greasy and she found that to be a turn off. Overall, we liked Bantam + Biddy very much. Although I’m sure it would be packed for breakfast almost any day of the week, we really want to come back to experience that. Bantam + Biddy is a sure bet for chicken lovers and we think it makes a great place in Midtown to meet with friends. Guten appetit!

Really nice to not have to wait on a Saturday at noon. We had a group of 6 and sat in a nice corner booth. Service was good and patient with us as our group filed in over 30 minutes. Mimosas were fairly cheap, and food was reasonable. Chicken and waffles, omelettes and some lunch options. Everyone liked their food and we lingered for a while to chat. Very enjoyable experience!

I’m a big fan of Bantam and Biddy. It’s fast, well-priced and yummy. I’ve been to both the Ansley Mall and Crescent Street locations, and have enjoyed the food/service at both. My usual go to order is the black bean soup and the quinoa/spinach salad. The soup has so much flavor, with a little added kick from the Tabasco cream. The salad is also quite flavorful, with some Asian influence in the dressing(though they can add a bit too much at times). This morning I went for brunch and, since my go to meal wasn’t able to be ordered yet(it was before 11:30 am), I went with the build your own biscuit option(a fried chicken biscuit with a scrambled egg on the side). The chicken was crispy yet juicy and the biscuit seemed extremely fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and would recommend the combination to anyone looking for a quick, yummy dish.
