History

Established in 2008.

Bare Body Waxing ATL has been around since October of 2008 and began as a mobile body waxing service after a number of co-​owner Princess George’s former clients contacted her requesting her to continue servicing them even though she was no longer affiliated with a particular spa. To meet their needs she performed waxing services in her clients and friends homes; on their lunch breaks, after work and even late in the evening. As her clientele grew Princess realized there was a legitimate market and need for more full service waxing boutiques that catered to customers seeking only waxing services. After years of operating as a mobile business, Princess enlisted the help of her sister Celebrity Wardrobe Director & Personal Assistant Brandee Wilder. With her 13 years of experience as a licensed Esthetician, expertise and skill and her sisters’ business savvy and experience working with high profile clientele Bare Body Waxing is the perfect place to cater to all your full body waxing needs.

Inexpensive waxing for people like me on a budget and want quality service at the same time. Bare Waxing studio provides this and more. Princess builds great rapport with clients and put them at ease. She is very knowledgeable and kind. She has a firm and expert hand. There is a little pain with waxing but that’s a given. The studio is neat and clean. The place smells so lovely. The place is located across from the Robert Woodruff AUC library and parking is near by. The service is speedy and excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone. My chin never felt so smooth.

I was a little afraid to get a brazilian wax but it ended up being a great experience. Princess is really comfortable and we spoke the entire time. The shop is really cute, clean, and professional. The wax itself did hurt, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought since I felt really comfortable. She is definitely knowledgeable about waxing. I made my next appointment right after I was done with the Bare Regular Membership. Not to mention the price is great for the quality of the service. It was really quick as well. Def would recommend.

I like to ball on a budget.
I happened upon this little boutique on Groupon. I like having options when it comes to personal grooming and decided that is give this place a shot.
I’m not gonna lie… I was a little nervous. Deal sites tend to be hit or miss in terms of the services they direct you to.
Now, the boutique is located where the police precinct used to be on the Clark Atlanta University campus, on the corner of Parsons Street and James P. Brawley. It’s a no-​frills space, but very clean.
This is one of the fastest, most thorough waxes I’ve had in recent memory! Princess, the owner and operator (very nice young lady), likes to do it quick and dirty lol. It took maybe 10 minutes and I was on my way out the door. This is all Princess does, and I love that. Why? Because she’s doesn’t pretend to be anything else by dabbling in various services. This allows her to focus on waxing and, apparently, to develop her very efficient technique!
Just a note: don’t park directly behind the business. Make the first right once you’ve passed the business and park in the lot to the right. You’ll get a parking slip so you won’t have to pay.
