They got my order wrong and their bacon tastes like plastic. Fries were drier than California in drought season.

Experienced a bad case of food poisoning after eating here a few weeks ago. Still not 100% yet to this date. People in the food industry need to understand that it is not just the person who eats the food that is affected, but everyone else around them. Family, friends, co-workers, etc. Thus, please be more conscious of proper food prep, hygiene, etc. as not only is the person who ate the food sickened, but there is a domino affect with others around them that can affect family plans, work schedules, etc. I hope that someone from Boardwalk reads this and can address this situation I unfortunately had to deal with and still am.

I just took six of my students traveling to a conference to boardwalk service was impeccable food was delicious and the wait time was minimal highly recommend anyone trying to get a quick bite of good food to stop by and pick up a good sandwich and some fries. I highly recommend this place. The morning shift crew, and Naomi were amazing!!!

I visited 10⁄25 about 8:15pm. While waiting to order and waiting for my food, I had the opportunity to observe some of the worst customer service I have seen in some time. The young lady at the first register not only had a scowl on her face, she barely acknowledged the customers(even when they were overly polite to her), and gave the clear impression she couldn’t care less. My particular server at least used a standard set of greetings and acknowledgements(which I appreciated)…as did the manager. But the manager was within ear and sight range of the rude cashier and appeared to laugh/joke about it. I was not told that they were out of tomatoes(found this out when I went back for my refund)…which would have changed my order. And as I got about halfway through my burger I tasted pickles(something I specifically requested NOT be included). I honestly would have simply removed the pickles and went on with my life if not for the fact that I had to watch the cashier be so blatantly rude to her customers. And even during the return transaction the manager added to my frustration in the way that she told the cashier what was going on. And then I had to get into a stare off with the rude cashier. I almost told her about herself but figure I will let corporate figure it out since I plan on reaching out with this feedback. You are a SERVICE industry business… there is little rude for attitude and rudeness. But I did think that the burger was good… aside from the inaccuracies.

Go to the chick fil-a next door! We ordered an omelette and chicken sandwich(the one from Chick-fil-A is much much better). The omellette is just egg with bunch of vegetables folded in. I would say that it isn’t the best and not worth $ 9. I didn’t have high expectations but if I’d visit again, I’d go with the safe option of Chick-fil-A.

Ordered the classic with cheese Changed raw onions to grilled. Honestly, one of the best burgers I have had in a while. Great balance on all veggies and sauce, burger juicy.

I have to admit, I didn’t have high expectations for Boardwalk Burgers but I was hungry and had some time before my flight so I figured I’d give it a shot versus standing in a long line somewhere else. We both ordered burgers, drinks and a plate of chili cheese fries to share. The total came to $ 33 which I thought was a bit pricey for airport burgers but hey. The staff wasn’t the best. In fact, they were pretty slow, the counter could’ve used a good wipe down, the straw dispenser was empty and even after I said something it still took a while to get it filled. The burgers themselves also seemed to take a while to come out. We found a table and unwrapped our steaming, hot burgers. Again, I wasn’t expecting much, especially after the service. But, I’m happy to say, I was pleasantly surprised. The burger was the perfect size, temperature and taste. It was juicy like I like my burgers and a bit messy which makes it all the better. The buns were soft and they didn’t skimp on the meat either. The chili fries, which I’m usually not crazy about, were also very delicious – warm, gooey cheese and slightly spicy chili atop still crisp fries… Yummy! But, by far, the star of the meal was the funnel cake fries. I surely didn’t need these calories but being a bit of a funnel cake junky,(who can resist them??), I just knew I had to try ‘em. They were so warm and crispy and sugary and perfect! Oh my goshhhhhh! In the end, although the service wasn’t the best, the food was pretty good and I’d definitely go back JUST for those funnel cake fries.

I’m a frequent traveler and, as a result, am eating in airports more than I’d like. But I’ll be coming to the ATL earlier in the future just so I can have breakfast at Boardwalk. The omelets are simple but fantastic. When you’re on the road, it can be tough to find non-processed food made with fresh ingredients. Imagine my surprise when I found Boardwalk and their omelet full of peppers, onions, tomatoes, jalapeños and BIG chunks of bacon(I skipped the cheese). It’s not fancy, but it’s damn good. And it’s real food. Not fried. Not processed. And the service, at 5:45am no less, was fantastic. Really good people. I’ll be back.

This was decent airport fare at a decent price. I liked being able to customize what came on my sandwich, not a bad option in this terminal, appeared made to order, took a few minutes to come out but I was satisfied with the results

Terrible! The staff wasn’t the greatest. They seemed like they didn’t want to be there. The burgers come out cold and super dry. I WAS starving after that flight from San Diego, now I just lost my appetite.

I’m different than most people. You get off the airplane, you run to the bathroom. However, I get off the airplane, I run to get myself a hamburger. This burger and fries fix was a guilty pleasure, plain and simple. I ordered the bacon and Bleu burger, and although I was impressed with the portion size, there was nothing memorable about my experience. The meat was overcooked, which disappointed me. If it weren’t for the Bleu cheese I probably wouldn’t have scarfed it down. Furthermore, the meal itself(no beverage) cost $ 12. Ehhh, no thanks but that’s too pricey for a non-gourmet burger. I have to say, the fries were decent, surprisingly not over-seasoned. I won’t apologize for my zero tolerance of below par burgers. Tonight, I’ll fantasize of a juicy burger, the way Jules Winnfield describes a Big Kahuna Burger in Pulp Fiction. Unfortunately, Boardwalk didn’t deliver on this personal endeavor of mine.

The burger was just ok. The fries were overlooked, over salted and basically not edible. The girl at the counter was friendly and the service was fast. I doubt I would want to go back. It just didn’t satisfy my idea of a great burger and fries. It is also overpriced, in my humble opinion.

Terrible, just absolutely terrible, worst burger place ever I’m not whether the person who made my burger sucks at making burgers, or if the burgers here just suck, but the Burger just SUCKS!!! the burger was dry, the bacon that was on by burger was burnt, the burger was dry. the ingredients did‘t even taste fresh. i only took a couple of bites from it and i was already done. Honestly a Big Mac from McDonalds taste better than this, which is exactly what i got after i throw it in the trash, but not before i try and complain about my burger, to the cashier, but she was just being disrespectful, and ignoring me, just be she was to busy trying to be a hoe and flirting with every single guy that walked past her

I ordered the boardwalk burger & regular fries. My order must have been complicated because not only did the three people ahead of me get their order before me, but so did the 4 people behind me. The girls behind the counter were very young in face and in customer service maturity. The girls spent too much time giggling, side eyeing and patting their braided hair(I really wish I was just being mean she saying that. I’m not) than following upon services customers. Luckily, the adult male manager noticed I hadn’t been served and expedited the process of my order preparation. I was served fresh fries which were fried too long… So although hot, they were hard. The burger was pretty good. Larger than I expected… Two patties and flavorful. The sand which was messy, the bread was just ok and they need to wrap the burger in more foil. It wasn’t enough to cover the burger. I get better service and food at Five Guys. Moving forward, I’ll only eat there. It just wasn’t worth it.

Their handmade burgers are fantastic! I love the Bacon Blue Burger. Only reason I’m not giving them five stars is the fries…

I think the 2.5 overall rating is a truer rating, but 3 is too high. Not gourmet in the least. The staff was friendly. The service was quick. The burger and chicken tender sandwich had much to be desired. I would not go back.

This is an ok option for a quick lunch at the airport. The service was fairly quick. There is a lot of seating nearby including window options. I ordered the Bacon Bleu Burger and chili cheese fries. The burger was ok. The portion is large. The flavor is ok, but overall lacking. The ingredients are clearly not fresh, but it will do in a hurry. The portion was also large with the chili cheese fries. The fries are solid. The chili is ok as well. They give you a good amount of chili and cheese.

I stopped by to get a drink and salad to go along with my ham wrap I brought with me from Indy. The employees were very hospitable and salad was reasonable for a side salad. They have Ken’s Dressing which is good. I’d stop back if I have a layover in Atlanta again. Most likely, I will…

I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger, and after seeing the sauces asked if I had to tell them what I wanted. The lady at the counter told me it was automatic. It came with mayo only… hmmm. It didn’t have any mushrooms on it and the Swiss cheese wasn’t melting on my burger. I walked by after eating my food and know they grill the burgers fresh to order, but for some reason mine wasn’t! Scout Mob had any article sometime ago about must try fries in the Atlanta area. Boardwalk’s must try was their funnel cake fries. I like my funnel cake really lightly browned, so when I had these I was disappointed. They were almost burnt to my standards. I will give them a try one more time as when I landed the city was being shut down due to snow. Hotlanta has no idea what to do with the white flurries, so a lot of the restaurants had already closed when I landed at 4pm!

Do not order breakfast here. I made this mistake, and even by airport standards this was simply bad. I ordered pancakes with blueberries, bacon, and a side of potatoes. The potatoes were the most grease soaked side dish I’ve ever had at breakfast. The blueberry topping was rancid, I literally spit out the first bite I took. This was packaged in the small condiment containers with snap on plastic lids, and I wondered how long those had been just sitting around going bad. The bacon was the only redemptive aspect of the meal. Lunch may be a different stody. My boyfriend ordered a burger and fries for his breakfast, and they were much better. He was kind enough to share his fries when I couldn’t manage to choke down my own meal, and they seem like a safe bet! Or, you know, just go to any of the other vendors in the food court area, and get a breakfast you can actually swallow.
