I contacted Bonnie to take pictures of my infant daughter. The whole experience was great. Bonnie was responsive, she showed up on time and she was reasonably priced. She took far more pictures than I expected. My biggest problem was that I loved all the pictures (and there are only so many you can put up all over your house). I hope to work with her again.

Bonnie did some headshots for me for my new website. We did them outside, and though the weather was terrible, she somehow made them shine. She captured exactly what I was hoping for and was great to work with – she listened to what I wanted and was open to my ideas and also added many of her own. She made me feel comfortable throughout the shoot. The results were wonderful. As an added bonus, her prices are super reasonable!

Brides want everything about the wedding day to be perfect, and, at least with regard to our photographers, it was! We chose the photography services of Bonnie J Heath and Addison Hill, and they went above and beyond! Despite dealing with a tight shooting schedule, a nervous bride and a rowdy group of groomsmen, Bonnie and Addison were not only polite and professional, they were kind, fun, and helpful! And then… there are the pictures. I. Love. These. Pictures! The forecast called for rain on my wedding day, and, while it did not rain, the sky vacillated between sunny and overcast. No problem! Bonnie and Addison were prepared, and the pictures came back perfectly adjusted to the changing light. The pictures are crisp, clean and stunning. Bonnie and Addison know their angles, and caught some beautiful «in the moment» shots that every bride loves. And the turnaround time? We had our photos — more than 1,000 of them! — in less than two weeks! I was astonished — pleasantly so — at the speed with which they were able to deliver, as other companies had quoted us anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks. I cannot say enough positive things about Bonnie J Heath and Addison Hill. Wonderful people, gorgeous photos. Highly recommended.

Everything I hoped for! Bonnie was exceptional, professional, kind, down to earth, and I would absolutely recommend her. She took photos of my newborn and I thought they turned out perfect. She brought in her own props (headbands, blankets, warmer, basket) but was very creative in using what was available in our home or anything I wanted. She was very patient with my 1 week old and even took breaks so I could feed her and make sure she was calm for the pictures. I will definitely reach out to her again if we have another child!

For me, the most difficult part of planning our wedding has been choosing photographers, florists, DJ, alteration places, makeup/​hair etc. because you really have no idea how anything is going to turn out until you take a chance and try it out. Finding and working with Bonnie has single-​handedly made me feel way more confident about how everything will turn out.
My fiancé and I recently shot our engagement photos with Bonnie and she is AMAZING. Not only is she incredibly easy to work with, she has such great energy and made the entire shoot so much fun. We had no idea what to expect, but as soon as we arrived she made us feel comfortable and the entire shoot felt natural and seamless. She was great about showing us pictures throughout the shoot and was super flexible about different looks and getting a variety of shots. We never felt rushed or like she was trying to stick to a set schedule — it really felt like she just wanted to make sure we all got the shots we wanted. Her prices are very affordable, and I honestly feel like she sets them relatively low because she genuinely enjoys what she does and wants the best deal for her clients. I cannot say enough great things about working with her. If you are lucky enough to book time with her, TAKE IT! :)

After reading the amazing reviews for Bonnie J Heath on Unilocal,I had a really good feeling that my (now) hubs and I would hire her to shoot our engagement session and wedding. We initially contacted her in October 2013, and I was thrilled to find out she was still available on our wedding date in June 2014! After our initial meeting with her at a Caribou Coffee and looking at more of her portfolio on her website, it was an easy decision to choose Bonnie to be our photographer for our special moments to come!
We looked at the three wedding packages offered by Bonnie and ended up choosing the «Shotgun Wedding Package» which included the following:
* 6 hours of wedding photo coverage
* Second shooter
* Online gallery
* Slide show
* DVD of all edited images
Bonnie was very flexible when I was was trying to choose the best day to schedule our engagement photo session. We ultimately selected the Goat Farm and Jackson St. Bridge as our e-​session venues, and she got a lot of great shots of us! She was very kind and easy to work with during the two-​hour session. We were running out of time to get good shots at the bridge before sunset that day, but Bonnie was very efficient!
On our wedding day, Bonnie was super professional and worked so well with her second shooter, Addison Hill (also an awesome photographer!). At our ceremony and reception venue, the Defoor Centre, Bonnie got great shots of our centerpieces and the ceremony décor in addition to the photos of my wedding gown, our wedding party, family, and guests. Addison photographed my groom, his best man, and groomsmen before our pre-​ceremony photo session while Bonnie was in our «bridal room» taking our «getting ready» shots.
We were on a tight schedule, driving to Centennial Olympic Park for our pre-​ceremony photos and then back to the Defoor Centre (around Howell Mill Road) within an hour. It was definitely stressful, but Bonnie took it all in stride and was calm and collected the entire time. Needless to say, it was a gorgeous but HOT and sunny day — and the wedding party WAS sweating — but the photos turned out beautiful! The hubs and I especially loved the «under the veil» shots!
The photos taken at the Defoor Centre were also great, but I have to admit that I was disappointed in a few of the «formals» we took after the ceremony. With the craziness of gathering relatives for post-​ceremony photos, I guess it was difficult to see that my little cousin and ring bearer was obviously goofing around and posed like a puppy (or T-​Rex or something) with his hands curved down in front of his chest for our formal photos with my uncle’s family. It was disappointing to see that the numerous shots she had taken of my immediate and uncle’s family all had my cousin in that horrifying pose, so much that I could not bring myself to include the photo in our wedding album.
We loved the photos taken during our wedding ceremony and exit, post-​ceremony photos with our wedding party (including a silly «Bridesmaids» movie poster shot that I had specifically requested), reception, and our final sparkler exit. Bonnie took beautiful shots of our wedding cake and even talked me and my husband through the cake-​cutting (since we had no idea what we were doing). She also took some really great photos of my friends taking selfies and having a great time on the dance floor! By the end of our reception, the time was beyond what we had contracted with Bonnie and Addison, but they were kind enough to stay the extra time to get our sparkler exit shots at no additional cost. So awesome!
Overall, Bonnie J Heath Photography gets 4.5 stars for the wonderful engagement and wedding photos taken by Bonnie and Addison. Again, they were super professional, friendly, and easy to work with. The wedding package we selected was such an awesome value for the services we got. Finally, to top it all off, Bonnie had our engagement photos edited and ready to send to us in less than two weeks and our wedding photos after exactly two weeks! She is passionate about her photography and takes care of her clients. I would not hesitate to hire her again in the future, and I highly recommend her (and Addison Hill) to any of my friends and fellow Unilocalers for their professional photography needs! Just be sure to contact her as soon as possible because she WILL book up fast! =)

We’ve used Bonnie 3 times (wedding and 2 newborn/​family photo sessions) and she has taken excellent photos every time! She is great with our kids, captures such beautiful moments of our family, and is super easy to work with. And, she charges a very reasonable rate. We will definitely continue to hire Bonnie to take our family photos!

I’ve used Bonnie on several fashion shoots. She is professional, prompt, talented, a joy to work with and always comes up with creative ideas to make the shoot just that much better. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

I was very disappointed with my interaction with Bonnie Heath. I wrote her requesting a photo shoot over this Memorial Day weekend. My sister and brother in law were coming into town with their kids and I wanted to surprise them with a photo shoot at the house. She contacted me on May 11 and said she had availability. She also said, «Just to let you know, two and three year-​old kids are very hard to take photos of. We can get a few, but not as many good ones as I can usually capture.» Despite this disclaimer I continued to engage with her in finding a date and time. She told me on May 12 she would be available. I wrote her one final email to confirm the time and she responded back the following day (May 13): «My husband reminded me that we have an obligation on the morning of 25^th. And, I’m getting quite booked up for the next several weekends.» She then referred me to a colleague.
I appreciate the referral to another colleague but don’t appreciate her giving me a date and time of availability and then revoking it later. I had unfortunately told my sister of the surprise yesterday so she could be prepared and am now scrambling to find a substitute.

Five stars for Bonnie all the way. From the first time I contacted her about taking professional head shots for me, she was friendly and flexible with scheduling (I had to reschedule a couple of times). When we finally met to take the photos, she came across as the consummate professional, and put me completely at my ease, which allowed her to get quite a few natural, relaxed-​looking pictures of me. I had scouted out a location or three at Georgia Tech, where we were taking the pictures, but she saw possibilities in places that I hadn’t noticed. She ended up taking some of my favorite pictures in places that I had thought wouldn’t really work. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone getting professional pictures done.
Did I mention that the loathed double-​chin did not show up in a single picture? ;)

I called Bonnie based on her Unilocal reviews and was not disappointed. She took some great headshots of me at a location of my choosing. We tried lots of angles and backdrops that really gave me a huge selection of photos to choose from. I received my complete album of over 100 shots just 2 days later that she uploaded for me. Great work and I will recommend her to others!

Congratulations, you’ve found your perfect wedding photographer! Bonnie is ridiculously easy to work with, friendly, reasonably priced, and a true talent. My pictures are everything I hoped for and I have so many wonderful ones to choose from. She also chooses great people to work with — her assistant was incredibly nice and literally rolling around on the ground trying to get the right shot.
I could really go on about Bonnie all day, but the thing that put her over the top for me was when she could tell that my new husband and I needed a breather from the reception and gently pulled us outside to take a few more pictures alone at dusk. Not only did we get essentially the only one-​on-​one time we had all night, we got some of my favorite pictures out of the deal.
Okay, so now that you’ve decided to book her, go ahead and get that photobooth too. Seriously. After booking Bonnie, booking the photobooth was the second best decision I made during the whole wedding planning process. I originally thought they were cliché, but it gave me 250 more pictures to enjoy with all of our guests acting ridiculous and everyone had a great time with it. Completely, totally worth it.

If you have a lazy eye, Bonnie Heath will shoot you at an angle that levels it out. If a pimple has popped up in the worst possible place, Bonnie Heath will Photoshop that shit. If you are getting married based on societal pressure and not love, Bonnie Heath can’t help you, but I’ll be glad to refer you to my therapist.
My husband and I fortunately found Bonnie Heath for both our engagement and wedding photos. She must have taken classes in psychology because I’m typically uncomfortable in front of the camera. But Bonnie got a feel for my weirdness and chatted me up about local music and hip baths, so much that my unnatural smirk transformed into a genuine smile.
In addition to getting plenty of pictures of me to feed my vanity and self-​absorption, Bonnie and her awesome assistant Jonathan Phil captured charming images of our wedding party and guests. Compounding the variety, Bonnie provided us with a photo booth, allowing people to take photos that got sillier and sillier as the alcohol continued to flow.
Bonnie is earnest, talented, cool and affordable. Your google eyes and blemishes will be in professional hands.

I found Bonnie on Unilocal because of her amazing rating and am so glad I did! The shots she took of our wedding day are phenomenal: she captured tons of amazing moments and made the photos both gorgeous and creative. Her use of light and framing kept the shots from ever being boring. We got married at a contemporary art museum and she used the space in really innovative and fun ways for the posed pictures. Bonus points for really cool angles with lots of sky in a lot of the outdoor shots.
I really wanted to work with someone who wasn’t too traditional or wedding-​y, so I was even more excited to find Bonnie’s own wedding on Offbeat Bride after we’d already booked her. I knew she’d get the laid back vibe we were going for and she totally did.
She also set up a photobooth for us, which was incredibly fun. All in all she’s an amazing value and great to work with. Now excuse me, I need to go look at our photos about a billion more times.
