Founder and Culinary Legend Jonathan Waxman’s latest creation is typical Waxman.
Housed in the rustic, historic old Sears distribution center– turned Ponce City Market, Brezza feels right at home. 90 year-old wood floors, oversized structural columns and monolithic metal frames help build the backdrop to Jonathan’s delicious version of Italian cuisine meets Californian chef.

Business Owner
Jonathan Waxman is an acclaimed industry veteran and pioneer of farm to table cooking. His other restaurants included Barbuto, Jams, Adele’s and Bajo Sexto. Working as a successful chef, restaurateur, and author, he has also participated in two seasons of Top Chef Masters. Giving back is important to Waxman and he works closely with many charities including City Meals on Wheels and Alex’s Lemonade Stand. He currently lives in Manhattan with his wife and three children.
