Truly an amazing experience. The guy at the receptionist desk was so wonderful, we are from Washington DC and we über there and got lost and he called us to make sure we were ok and directed us there with no issues. He was greAt and I had an LIFE CHANGING deep tissue massage with Latissue, (but she is only there on Friday and Saturday) you must experience her and her MAGIC FINGERS, it was so worth it, I left there feeling UNEXPLAINABLE HAPPINESS. She made sure to listen to what I wanted and took every crook and pain and tightness out of my entire body… She truly was experienced and I WILL be going back.

If you want to be a number and get a massage then go to to Massage Envy. If you truly want to be transformed and treated like a Queen with a Spa Experience go to Buckhead Grand Spa! First let me say I’ve been a Nationally licensed massage therapist and «spa junkie» for 16 years getting massages /​facials/​body treatments all over US and 8 other countries. Needless to say I am super-​picky. This is hands down the very best and detailed facial& massage I’ve received in years. Why?
1. Aaron is professional and courteous on the phone as I think I called maybe 3 times to ask questions and directions. Each time so gracious.
2. Davia (pronounced dive uh) has training in Europe and US and her techniques, attention to the details, and extra touches are what made my peel/​facial so great.
3. Latisha my therapist hit all knots and worked more on areas we discussed. Her pace, techniques and flow were perfect; the best part is she has a huge heart and really cares and enjoys helping people.
Having my own Therapy business for 8 years my best guess is that the negative reviews on here are from 2 kinds of people: Competing spas in the area trying to steal customers OR people that just want to complain about paying for a service. Sixteen years ago I charged $ 70 for an hour massage-​the prices here are as good or actually Lower than the Hotels or Spas I’ve been to recently. You get what you pay for here… a Great Spa Experience & Transformation!

I received a facial from Daiva and felt very relaxed through out the entire process. She listened to my needs and identified the problem areas I was having. I have had facials before and I have tended to associate it with pain, it was quite a pleasant surprise for it not to be. I noticed an immediate difference in my nose and eyebrow area. My favorite part was probably the salt water steam spray, it was very relaxing and I actually fell asleep. I would recommend this to friends and family.
Jasmine gave me a deep tissue massage here as well. I am a runner and my back tends to get very knotted up. I have never felt so good the next day in my life. I was so relaxed the next afternoon when I ran that I felt like I was running faster than I have ever before. I will be back regularly to see her.

The only thing grand about this place is in the name itself. Everything else is subpar at best. The previous review must not know what a good massage it because my experience was an overpriced disappointment. The owner is also an old creepy man who stares at you awkwardly. Very uninviting. I don’t see how this place is still in business. Must have loyal customers that don’t know better. Trust me, stay away.

I had the best massage with Jasmine. I have had a lot of stress, knots, and needed deep tissue– she’s great, takes her time and really works out the problems. I left feeling like I loved it and want to continue coming to see her.

I had a 1 hour deep tissue massage and a hydrating facial that was gifted to me for my birthday! I absolutely love this place. My Masseuse listened to my concerns took great care. The gentleman at the reception was very courteous in explaining all my questions. Overall was a great experience!! The only down side was the price, a tad bit expensive

I was given a gift certificate to the buckhead grand spa for Christmas. The woman over the phone was lovely and explained where I should park and what time to arrive on the day of my massage. When I arrived the spa was very clean and calming, and the gentleman at the desk was nice. I appreciated the soft music when preparing for the massage. I got the 90 minute deep tissue massage, and enjoyed every minute of it! She made sure to pay attention to the areas I requested. I just wish their prices were more affordable but given that it’s Buckhead I can understand why.

I was recently in town and in need of a massage when I stumbled upon this amazing spa! From the first phone call I made, to the end of cashing out it was by far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Customer service was incredible. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable, and the therapist assigned to me was great! She found my problem areas, and had me fixed up and feeling 100x better! It’s very clean and beautifully decorated. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone in the area for any of your needs. I can’t wait to visit again!

For me this was easily a 5 star rating from top down.
I booked this via phone call as I’m from Miami and was only coming into town for the weekend. I saw on their website that they had a great deal and welcoming area for a couples massage. Customer service through the phone was absolutely phenomenal and they answered every question of mine.
Not only did they confirm the appointment 24 hours before but while I was on the way, they called me to make sure I knew how to get to the Spa and find it. I really appreciate their time and efforts.
Massages were pretty amazing. Not mind-​blowing out of this world, but I truly do believe that it takes time to find that right masseuse who can do you like no other. But for a drop in while on vacation, I was extremely pleased! My boyfriend and I even snoozed off a bit because we were so relaxed.
The room was very comforting and relaxing.
The man and woman working the front desk were so very sweet and nice. Had bottles of water waiting for us as soon as we walked out of the room.
Only two slight things that I wish were different was that, 1. I wish the shower worked so that I could quickly rinse off. I personally don’t think the oily feeling after the massage. But that’s just my personal preference. 2. Was there construction going on somewhere in the building? Sometimes it would kill my vibe but not enough to ruin my entire experience. Heard quite a few loud metal clanging. So maybe a disclaimer would have been nice when I booked the reservation just in case.
Either way, easily would recommend this place to anyone who resides in Atlanta and is looking for a great spa to relax and rejuvenate.

To start please let me thank Buckhead Grand spa for being accommodating to squeeze us in at the last minute. It was a surprise for my wife and we ended up having the absolute best experience.
The spa is located in the lobby of a beautiful glass, high-​rise condominium building. Finding it was a bit tricky as there is a lot going on this area, but nothing to be overly concerned with. When we arrived, they greeted us at the door, took care of our jackets, offered us refreshments and snacks while we filled out the paperwork. Next we were taken to the couple’s room, and had our massages there. My wife opted for the Swedish massage and I had the deep tissue. I really enjoyed my massage, it was firm and the masseuse hit the areas we discussed prior to the massage. My wife, loved hers as well because in the middle of her massage she looked at me and said «babe, this is the BEST». She was so relaxed that she may have fallen asleep towards the end of it… «Score one for the husband». My wife also enjoyed a facial after the massage while I hung around in the waiting area. I don’t know much about facials but she said loved it as well. «Score two for the husband!»
The reason I am writing this review is because I was very happy how the day turned out. When I first called them, I was not sure about what services I should book for my wife because I was new to this. They were helpful in explaining what they offered, gave me recommendations and didn’t really push anything. I took their advice, and came out very happy. We will be retuning to this spa again and again.

The best spa experience ever so relaxing the staff was great the service was beyond amazing ill surely be going back. The inside is really nice, calm, peaceful and CLEAN. Its also so affordable. They took care of my every need. My husband is actually is actually taking me back for my birthday.
One thing I didnt like is its small. I had to come out in the lobby to go on to my next session. But thats no biggy the robe and slippers were big enough.

Excellent, experienced esthetician. Went for waxing services and it was probably the most painless waxing experience I’ve ever had. Owner uses a different kind of wax here called «hard wax» that doesn’t require strips. Cools to a rubbery texture and peels right off. Also got the eyelash tint which did not burn as it usually does for me.

I love Buckhead Grand! It’s my «go to» place for a facial. The services are thorough and complete. They just added a new machine to the repertoire and I always leave with new knowledge on how to better care for the health of my skin and body. The staff is up to date and serious about providing excellence in service. As I get older, I really appreciate a spa that provides measurable results, not just to pamper– although they do both! Natalie is fantastic and can answer any question I have– so knowledgeable! My skin looks and feels so much healthier and the small intimate atmosphere is a great place to feel comfortable and «at home».

The front desk service was amazing but the services I booked were very disappointing and overpriced. My esthetician continued to up sell me throughout and rushed through my services. The ‘grand’ spa is also in the lower level or the ‘grand’ apartment building – not exactly what I was expecting, especially when my ‘grand’ total could have received me services at one of the high end hotel spas in Buckhead.

One of the BEST massages I’ve ever gotten and I used to get massages at least once a month in NYC. It’s a tiny place in the lobby of a condo building but nice and quiet.
I got a 90 minute deep tissue from Meite (i’m probably spelling that wrong) on a Saturday evening. She used the exact right pressure (what can i say, i like it rough) and she actually focused on the areas I asked her to focus on. Her movements were effective without leaving me bruised which often happens when i ask for it harder than most people initially do.
The spa is not actually located on Peachtree proper. My Google maps led me in the right direction though. I parked in the lot behind the building and it was free, but there was also a church service happening so not sure if that happens all the time.
I will definitely be going back

I’m writing this review on behalf of my girlfriend who I purchased the massage for. Her thoughts were that it was horrible! The room was very cold and instead of turning up the heat they laid 5 towels on top of her. The scented oil was repulsive (I picked her up and can agree with that 100%). She directed them to focus on her neck and back, instead they started at her feet, went to her head (GROSS), then back to her feet. When I called to complain they were unresponsive and did not apologize.
I chose this spa because of reviews and it sounds like I need to do more research before spending $ 100 for 55-​minutes of garbage.

I’ve been to my share of luxury day spas and since it was my birthday, I decided to treat myself to a facial. I had been following the reviews on Buckhead Grand Spa for a while and decided to make an appointment for a facial.
So on to the actual review…
You might ask, why just two stars when everyone else has ranked this spa higher? Well, when a company puts the word «Grand» in their name, I think it should live up to that… unfortunately, Buckhead GRAND Spa did not live up to its name. The spa itself is actually relatively small, particularly the rooms where the services are provided. I was hoping for a very relaxing experience, but something was missing. It was unfortunately one of the most un-​relaxing spa experiences that I’ve had. For the type of service I received (a facial with an added masque and exfoliation) I felt that the service was extremely over-​priced.
The facial itself was mediocre and typically most day spas will include a brief shoulder and neck massage with the facial and I didn’t receive that with mine. At check out, I asked the receptionist is this a normal practice and she replied that it depends on the type of facial I received. When I told her the type of facial I received, she said, «oh well, you should have received a shoulder and neck massage.» Then, she said, «well, maybe she just ran out of time.» Although some people might see not getting a neck and shoulder massage as something small, for me it adds to the relaxation factor of a facial.
Needless to say, I won’t be back. Usually within a week after a facial I can tell a difference in my skin. With my facial from Buckhead Grand Spa, I saw no difference in my skin, at all. At the end of the day I was felt cheated and disappointed that I had wasted my time and money at this spa.

I’ve tried a few spas in Atlanta, but this was by far the best massage I’ve had. I received a gift certificate for Christmas from my brother who lives out of town so he did a lot of research to figure out where to send me. He did a good job!
First tip… park in the parking lot with Bed Bath & Beyond for free (but I was warned to make sure a parking person doesn’t see me walk the other direction). The garage attached to the Buckhead Grand will charge you.
I was very politely greeted and filled out the necessary forms. My wait was not long and the ambiance in the waiting area was nice. My massage therapist was Latissue and I had an amazing 90 minute Swedish massage. She made sure the amount of pressure was right and politely asked if I was ok a few times during the massage.
There was nothing super fancy about the spa, but they had soothing music, the right lighting, everything was very clean and orderly, and Latissue did a great job. I definitely recommend this to others and hope to go back soon!

After pulling my back at the gym, I came to Unilocal land looking for a good massage that was near me and ended up choosing this place. The appointment was easy to set up and the man who answered the phone was able to get me in the same day. The place is somewhat difficult to find. I drove around in circles trying to find it because my gps kept taking me all over Lenox. To save you the trouble, it is essentially across the street (Tower pl) from the shopping center where On The Border, Ulta, post office, Old navy, ect are.
Anyway, the inside was very clean with tranquil music playing in the background. I was greeted promptly and filled out the usual form before my appointment with Latissue. I chose to have the deep tissue massage and Latissue was able to give solid firm pressure on me which isn’t easy. By the time my hour was up, all my tension was gone. I was still a tiny bit sore, but it was nothing compared to how achy my back was when I came in (the tightness spread to where I couldn’t turn my head to the left without sharp pain). This was probably the best massage I’ve had in Atlanta. A+

When jonesing for a facial earlier this year, I decided to try Buckhead Grand Spa (BGS) because the place had endless glowing reviews on the Internet. It’s therefore bizarre I’m the first to review the spa on Unilocal.
My therapist was Daiva, who personally came very highly recommended by the Internet. Everything about the facial was great. The exfoliation scrubbing tool she used was intense and really did the job. She is awesome at extractions. Daiva even gave me a sample brow wax! My skin glowed afterwards, you name it. The Internet was right!
I truly respect Daiva’s gracious demeanor. She treats you as a host should treat her guests. We even had a talk about starting her own business and how she has used her training to make her family’s dreams possible, which was neat. Unrelatedly, I’ve had a bunch of facials and I usually get harangued on account of my desire to use only cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen, and mascara on my skin. While Daiva did recommend products, she didn’t chastise me or try to guilt me into spending more, which I deeply appreciate.
What the Internet did not mention is that BGS’s facility isn’t of the huge, complex-​type approach. I got my facial in a room directly off of the lobby. Do they have other treatment rooms? I’m not sure, but I don’t have the sense that BGS offers the glitzy cloister-​type experience, where you can spend entire days at the spa. I’m kind of big on that, so I’ll try 29 Spa next (at least until Exhale Atlanta opens). But for sheer results and attentive service, Daiva is awesome.
