Buckhead NAILS

I stumbled upon this place while headed to Discount Tire. I got a gel manicure and a pedicure. Kenny did my nails and he is the best. I was pleasantly surprised when he told me a massage came with my manicure! I will be coming back.

This used to be my go to nail salon because it’s in my neighborhood. The last two times I’ve gone I’ve ended up with very painful feet after a pedicure. On the first occasion the nail tech with pulling off my cuticles slowly which was very painful. I asked her to stop but she continued to do it. So I had to call over the manager to ask her to stop. Today I had another pedicure there with a different nail tech who scrubbed my toe to the extent that it drew blood. Although they were apologetic, they still charged me full price despite the fact that I walked out of their salon with a huge Band-​Aid on my toe. After this sort of customer service, (not to mention pain) I am too scared to go back.

Love Buckhead Nails on P’tree in Brookhaven near Starbucks. I’ve been a consistent customer since they’ve opened up, and am always happy with the services I get there; they go above and beyond with customer service.
Kenny and Aracele are my go-​to nail artists – both seriously talented. I’ll also mention that I never have to wait, and the salon feels clean and sanitary.

I’ve been coming here 3 years now. Tommy is the only person I trust to do my manicure. Tiffany is also fabulous, she’s my go-​to girl for perfect brows. They have services for men and women, as well as your daughters. Always clean & everyone is so sweet and accommodating. There’s no other nail salon I will go to.
The owner is going to update the chairs after the new year. The salon will have the latest super techie chairs to relax and enjoy some pampering.

Absolutely love this nail salon. I’ve been going here since the first week they opened and haven’t gone elsewhere since! The owner and his wife are very attentive to the overall management of the salon as well as customer service. The salon is very clean, nail stylists friendly and professional, and my nails always look superb. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 min to be seated– they are always fully staffed and frequently have all 30 chairs filled with clients. Also, there isn’t a lot of chatter in a foreign language between the nail stylists which can be annoying at other salons– that is frowned upon at buckhead nails.

My first time here. There was a little bit of a wait (15 minutes). But, my service was good. I was only getting a polish change on my nails and toes. It was quiet, with nice music in the background. Wasn’t pushy into getting other services. Nice place.

Complimentary water, soft tunes playing in the background, perfectly dimmed lights, and either burning incense or soft scented candles filling the air — I have died and gone to mani pedi heaven. I was greeted and seated immediately. The two assigned to do my mani and pedi were quite nice, didn’t talk me to death, didn’t try to upsell me on some emaculate service, and did a fabulous job on my nails and toes. A little pricier than what I’m used to paying, I’m definitely making Buckhead Nails my new go to for nail care.

Great salon, the staff is friendly! Went on a Saturday got worked right into a pedi chair, and got a mani at the same time. My mani is amazing, my feet are good as far as polish but, they don’t give much attention to your heels, and it’s summer time so everyone has dry heels from wearing sandals! but otherwise great! And the price is inexpensive, I was paying much more at my old salon! :)

Best nail place in buckhead! Awesome polish selection, great staff and always a job well done! I won’t go anywhere else!

Good service and end product. Went with a broken toe and my technician was appropriately gentle. Overall clean, polite, quick, relaxing.

Yep, the message with the mani-​pedi was wonderful. I was also impressed with their cleaniness. Observed them diligently cleaning the gel drying machines. to me that signals an overall commitment to maintaining sanitary conditions.

I am going to start this off by saying that my toes and nails look great, but because of the service I will never come back! The younger guy that did my nails made me feel so uncomfortable with his comments about other people and what he said to me. I didn’t know that the shoulder massage was included in the price, and while explaining it to me, he said he also said he did house calls. That is not okay. It wasn’t like we were flirting/​know each other. I also tried to convey that I wanted to relax/​not talk, but he kept forcing conversation even after asking me if I wasn’t in the mood to chat. He also said some comments about people that made me question if this was the type of business I want to support. I hope whoever hired him talks to him about what can and can’t be said at work.

Stumbled upon this spot. Quick and polite service. Above average shoulder massage! I had the man with the shoulder-​length hair and got the gel manicure. He did a good job shaping and painting my nails; I’m curious to see how long it lasts. Took off one star because he cut my cuticle a bit too close on one finger (blood), and because I had a small amount of gel polish left on a couple fingers but he still charged me the $ 5 fee. Total was $ 30. Overall a good spot and I would go back. From watching the other customers, it seems like they give good pedicures too.

I found Buckhead Nails after moving to Atlanta, thank goodness! You have to ask for Ted, trust me, my nails and toes (and brows) have never looked better! Ask for Ted and you will be hooked !

This is the worst nail experience I have ever had. Not only did they charge me for a service that I did not receive (manicure vs. just polish) but the gel polish on 1 of my nails peeled off within 1 day, the nail technician cut one pf my cuticles too low and it wouldn’t stop bleeding, and the polish was not evenly distributed on each nail and even spread to my skin in areas. I was optimistic in thinking they would remove the polish from my skin once they were finished, but when they did not I asked them if they could re-​do their work. They looked worse the 2^nd time around.
My friend that came with me had a similar experience with the polish peeling off and being charged for a service that she did not receive.
We will not be visiting this nail salon again.

Yes, I paid $ 84 for a manicure and pedicure, and yes I’m ashamed to admit it, but the level of service I got here was fantastic and it softened the blow of the «Ow my gosh did I just pay that much for nail service???» realization.
I did some type of super pedicure that involved scented salts, candle wax, soft music played personally by Kenny G himself, bottles of water, and multiple massages. Yup, it was pretty amazing. I’m a runner and 2 weeks later my feed still look good. That’s a definite plus.
Here’s why I can’t give them 5 stars; my manicure was meh. My nails still held their shape and haven’t really broken off (I have the worst nail beds ever) but I’m not sold on the manicure. I got the same level of service (Kenny G, scented salts, multiple massages and by candle wax) with my manicure, but I left with my nails looking «aiight» instead of «flipping fantastic!»
I will try them again, when I have $ 84 to blow and no self respect. Or when I just want to be pampered because they do a fantastic job of that!

Just moved to dunwoody after living in duluth for 7 years and going to Salon 1^st off of buford highway and old peachtree. I have been looking for a decent, reputable salon to go to for months and I finally went in there today (Saturday) to check it out. The workers were super friendly and well-​staffed and accommodating. The prices were a bit higher than I’m used to but were in Brookhaven so what else is too expect? I came prepared to pay a little bit more. I got my eyebrows and lip waxed by Tiffany (Go to her if you want a good arch). Teddy did my pink and white shimmery french manicure and another lady did a full pedicure with a french polish. Everything came out great and I will make this my new go to salon!
I deffinately recommend this place if you don’t mind paying a bit extra for great customer service and nails!

Yesterday my regular nail place was closed at 7PM due to an ice threat for the following day. I was bummed because I knew the weather was supposed to be bad later that week, and I really didn’t want to fight the crowd for V day mani/​pedis. I was headed to another place I’ve been to in Town Brookhaven when I remembered this place in the Kroger shopping center. I figured if they were closed too I’d continue on my search. To my delight they were open.
The two ladies doing my mani/​pedi were very friendly and did a great job at helping me relax. My shoulder massage was amazing. I usually skip them but the lady that did mine was awesome. Overall I was extremely pleased with my services. They even carried the exact colors of OPI and Essie that I was looking for. Win!

Came in here because it was very convenient to where I was running errands. Nice big salon & at 3.45 on a Saturday I didn’t have to wait, which was nice. I had Miss Julie as my tech for my brow wax, lip wax & manicure. The brow & lip wax were good, she was very gentle which I appreciated.
The manicure was only ok. I felt very rushed, and she kept looking behind me to see if she would get another guest who was having more done — mani pedi kinda thing. After examining my nails they just look sloppy, which I really hate. The whole time she went too fast & at some points filed my nails while looking away– not ok!
Seated next to me was a regular (she knew everyone’s name) & her tech was much more precise & slow. As a walk in I think i should have been given the same respect & service.
I’d drop back in in a pinch for a wax but probably not a manicure unless I had time for them to redo it if I wasn’t happy — which was not the case today.

My friends and I had originally made plans and RESERVATIONS at Polished down the street. Since Polished didn’t care and would tell us «15 more minutes» when there were 5 ladies ahead of us, we took our chances and left. It’s a good thing we did too because we found Buckhead NAILS and they took great care of us.
Not only was their location spacious, but they treated us well too by offering us bottled water. I can’t think of any other place that does this AND they put in a free neck/​back massage too.
My only complaint is that my technician was a little rough with the cuticles on my toes. This actually hurt but she didn’t do too much damage like the other place I went to before where there was blood.
This location is a bit far from me, but I’d come back if I were in the area. They’ve got a nice selection of polishes, they’re clean, they have nice-​smelling sugar scrubs for pedicures, and the service is great. I love that there was no wait and it wasn’t too crowded on a Saturday afternoon. My friends and I were still able to get on our with plans despite our troubles at another nail salon.
