Modern acupuncture uses both ancient wisdom and contemporary techniques. The goal of therapy is to harmonize the internal energy to maximize self healing while effectively treating symptoms of pain or disease. Acupuncture is my art and I strive to be the best, most thorough acupuncturist I can be.

History

Established in 1998.

I graduated the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1998 and practiced in San Francisco for three years. I studied under a range of Master practitioners including Koji Ichihashi, Alon Marcus, Evelyn Roberts and under Pamela Olton while volunteering at the Haight Ashbury Free Medical Clinic. Returning to my native Atlanta in 2002, I have been privileged to give talks at area health food stores, for the Arthritis Foundation, and for the doctors at Piedmont Hospital.

I grew up in Atlanta. In high school, I became interested in Taoism and started taking Tai Qi with Herb Goldberg. In my senior year, I attended a Macrobiotic cooking demonstration that was a powerful influence on me. In college I studied the Greek classics and took some time off to attend a Buddhist school in Boulder, Colorado. The idea of going to acupuncture school popped into my head in my mid-​twenties and is still the best idea I have ever had. Acupuncture, herbs, massage are all things I enjoy immensely. The broad range of their application and their effectiveness continue to impress me daily.
