Carole Parks Catering

This summer, I married the woman of my dreams! Life is off to a great start. Our wedding was truly a perfect «grand-​opening» to this adventure she and I will share together.
Carole Parks played a vital role. Allow me to explain:
Well, we of course had many vendor options to fill some key needs. (Catering, band, venue)
Carole Parks Catering was 100% the best decision we made. Admittedly, the relationship began through a family-​friend connection; but, hands down they were impeccable professionals. From the moment we began working with them we were fully informed and every line of communication was thorough and prompt.
Prior to the wedding, Carole Parks Catering was perfectly cooperative with our band and venue manager. (this was so important). Carole Parks met every food requirement on our band’s contract, accommodated our venue’s parking policy, followed our timeline, and was very flexible with the smaller-​than-​ideal kitchen work space.
Three food items we chose were BBQ sliders, shrimp and grits, and a Thai dish. We received compliments from multitudes of our guests on all 3 items and also our cake!
One of MANY areas where I feel that they went «above and beyond» was a family matter. This struck me as a simple move of integrity. They heard that my side of the family primarily abstained from alcohol. CPC thought of a special summer tea punch so that our guests had a non-​alcoholic option besides soda and water. I saw this as a very polite and thoughtful gesture.
The wine and beer bar stayed busy all night! In 4 whole hours, I never once saw a line or any congestion. Lightening fast! Interacting with the staff was pleasant. Everyone was extremely kind and professional.
We planned our ceremony and reception in the same room. The goal was to have the seats removed, tables set-​up, and dinner prepared in a 45 – 60 minute window after the ceremony. Naturally, this all unfolded perfectly.
So that my wife and I could eat, CPC even went as far as preparing us our first meal together at a private location complete with all the food items we had ordered for our guests, champagne, a decorated table, and chairs.
And just the icing on the cake: We also heard the venue was left clean and proper.
5 stars! Grand slam! We would highly recommend Carole Parks Catering for your wedding or event. Lastly, I would like to particularly mention Karleen. Karleen, thank you so much for working closely with us and making the biggest day of our lives a perfect memory.

I have always been very pleased with Carole Parks catering. I worked with them many times at Fox Theatre events, and have recommended them several times as a concierge. They have a great and helpful staff of planners to serve any groups needs. Great and innovative menu offerings to please any taste.

This review is for Carole Parks catering of my wedding reception for approx 155 people at Summerour Studios on 3÷15÷12. We worked exclusively with Jeffrey who was fabulous.
The food was delicious and garnered rave reviews from our guests. There were a ton of great options at 3 different stations and everyone found something they enjoyed. The make-​your-​own sliders station was a particular hit!
I reserve my highest praise for the cake, which was soooooo good! Usually wedding cakes look pretty but taste banal, but this was SO good. I picked the sour cream poundcake with chocolate ganache and there was so much rich ganache I almost died. My husband and I ate the entire top layer of the cake over the course of the next two days. Hey, it was AFTER the wedding, right?
Jeffrey was willing to work very closely with us throughout the whole process in order to ensure everything was exactly what we wanted. This included tastings, price adjustments, inclusion of coffee, etc. Also, many of my guests remarked after the wedding that their servers were particularly friendly!
