The first time I took my garments to Carriage, they came back smelling like old mop water. Through conversation with co-workers, they all raved about the convenient location but all had similar experiences with their clothes smelling worse than they did when they dropped them off. Believing in second chances, I took an Alfani($ 200) belted, peplum dress and Banana Republic($ 150) blazer to be cleaned. When I picked up my garments, my belt was torn from the bodice of the dress and my blazer had a dried white paste on the sleeve. Not only did the owners refuse to compensate me for my dress, that could not be repaired, but they also made me pay to retrieve my belongings. NEVER will I use Carriage Cleaners and have made sure to inform my co-workers of my treatment so they don’t waste their time and resources to have a bad experience.

I dropped off 5 items, came back the next day, and was told I had to wait another day despite what it said on my ticket. After coming back a second time, I picked up 4 items. My gorgeous Anne Klein dress that I had only worn a few times was not there. They said they would ‘stay late and look for it and give me a call’. No call. I came back a 3rd time to ask if another customer had gotten it by mistake, they said they hadn’t seen it turn up. Came back a 4th time, same. After this time I was told by the manager if it doesn’t come up after a little while longer, to give him a price estimate for the dress so I could get store credit. I came back for a 5th time, told him the price for an Anne Klein designer dress, and he said he needed some proof of the dress and that«he had never seen the dress so he doesn’t know if I’m right». He even went to say he has video footage of me and that he never saw the dress I spoke of. I described it in great detail to them many times, and by this point they started denying that I even had the dress dropped off in the first place. The simple offer of store credit due to their mistake is not being honored, and I have gone there over 5 times now. Both of us will not take our business here any more. They should do the right thing and give me what I was promised with the credit of my carelessly-given-away dress.

My husband and I have been coming here for the past year now and never had a problem. Our clothes are always ready to pick up when they say it will be. I’ve even started bringing my comforters and bed sheets along with my clothes; everything is clean, smells good, and is nicely packaged. And it don’t have to lift a finger! I would definitely recommend this place.

I think this place is under new management because I’ve used them in the past since I live right behind them, but now their service has greatly improved. They have same day service if you get there before 9am and you get it after 6pm the same day. It’s perfect because I go before and after work every other day. They even fix my broken buttons for free while removing those annoying pen stains that I get from work. Usually cleaners say the ink can’t come out. I don’t know what these guys are doing different but keep up the amazing work!

Recently brought a rather expensive golf shirt to Carriage for dry cleaning. After pick up, i realized that the sleeve had been ripped and they had made some pitiful attempt to repair the sleeve by gluing a patch on the inside. I was never notified that the shirt had been damaged. When I confronted them, they denied any knowledge of the damage and of course refused to reimburse. BEWARE!!!

Alayne unfortunately I cannot agree with you. While their alterations are good, its more than a little pricey. Secondly, they advertise themselves as same day dry cleaning. I have never been able to get a single suit done the same day, and it is like pulling teeth to get it by 5PM the next day. Today I had an even worse experience with them, they promised me that they would have my clothes ready by 5PM Monday, and here it was 7:30AM Tuesday and they don’t have my clothes ready, even though it says on the ticket«MON/PM». Way too over-priced and not very organized. I will be looking for a better dry cleaner. The only reason I gave the 2 stars was because they can do good repair work

Whenever I have dry cleaning that needs extra attention due to a stain because of my sloppy self or the garment is expensive so I want to have that extra TLC, I bring it here. They do their dry cleaning on premise and they do a terrific job. It is pricey, but in these circumstances, it’s worth it. If I need alterations done, I use them as well. They do a professional job and I have never been disappointed. Again, it is a little pricey, but if you can’t sew you’re screwed. Which leads me to the reason that prompted me to write this review. When I got out the winter coat, I noticed one of the buttons was about to fall off. So, that morning on my way to work, I dropped it off and asked that all of the buttons(5) be re-sewn. Now, I know some of you are thinking«Big L» cause I can’t sew my own buttons, but this is an expensive heavy coat and I didn’t care what it was going to cost me. I just new I wasn’t attempting it. So, they tell me I can pick it up after 5:30. When I went to get it, I whipped out my debit card and the lady said«$ 1.00». I’m like, excuse me, $ 1.00. Who does anything for $ 1.00.?Then the owner appeared from behind the moving rail of clothing and said«I am charging you for material only. Everything is so expensive right now and no one has any money.» Wow, I never want to wake up from this dream!
