Business Owner

Dr. Kenya Walker has worked in the field of education since 1998 as a teacher, assistant principal, and assistant vice president. Through these roles, she learned how beneficial STEM education is to students and the need that exists for them to have deliberate exposure to this field. Dr. Walker wanted to be affiliated with a franchise that recognized this need and had an innovative curriculum. Challenge Island is a franchise that embraces STEM and recognizes how important it is to engage students through interactive, hands-​on lessons.
