Work at a business in the area, decided to take orders for co workers for lunch. Got there and placed orders, but on one order specifically, asked for no onions in fried rice. the lady at the counter and I went back and forth asking about onions and eventually I said no onions in that order. she did not inform me that the teriyaki chicken had massive amounts of onions in it. so I get back to the office and notice the onions in the chicken. I’m like if we went through a back and forth for like 2 minutes about no onions, why would you think I wanted them in the chicken? I had the coworker call back up there to see if they would exchange. the lady at the front counter was EXTREMELY rude and hung up on her. she calls back and the lady tells her she didn’t need to talk to her since she did not come herself. I called back and explained the situation, perhaps there was a mix up in communication. instead of admitting so, she proceeded to get argumentative with me and would not correct the order. I WOULDNOTORDERFROMTHEREEVERAGAIN. RUDEANDOBNOXIOUSOWNERSTHATHAVENOBUSINESSRUNNINGANTHING!

Food took 1.5 hours for delivery on a regular Sunday evening when they said 40. General Tso was mushy and veggies wayyy over sauced. I had a good experience the first time but based on this one I will not be eating here again. If you’re going to make me wait, at least make the food good. Or say sorry and offer me a refund or something.

Place flat out sucks… Sesame Chicken used to be good but not anymore. Fried rice has enough oil in it to give your car an oil change. Prices went up ugh… Save your cash and honestly you will have to drive for decent Chinese food if you live in midtown because all the Chinese restaurants around is disgusting… And don’t even think about going to Pagoda on Piedmont because you’ll be calling off work because of food poisoning!

Five bites in to my meatless orange chicken I realize it’s not tofu, it’s actual chicken. Are you kidding me? Fellow vegetarians beware.

The menu says egg rolls are $ 1.00 each. I called and ordered 12 as something to just take to a dinner party. I showed up to pick the order up and the total was $ 18. I asked why 12 rolls @ $ 1 each could total $ 18. The lady said online menus aren’t honored and charged the full price even after I showed her the Unilocal menu.

To get to the point, the food I got from here was kinda trash. I ordered the specialty sesame chicken and steamed dumplings for delivery and that somehow came to $ 20, but I’m a YOUNGBALLER so I paid the fee. An hour later, a knock on the door announces the arrival of some trash-ass«New York Style» Chinese food. Sesame chicken was piled high but battered in what looked and tasted like Papier-mâché and swimming in a pool of watery, bronze liquid. The dumplings were bland and awful; their only redeeming quality the famous«brown sauce» that comes in this version with scallions floating at the top(tasty!). The amount of food I got was easily carved into two meals, but I was feeling ill by the time I was through so what the point of tons of food if it tastes like boo-boo. I don’t want to hate on China Garden at Ansley II Mall, but based solely off of this experience, I’m not trying to eat any more of their NY Style Chinese food.

This is my go to for Chinese food! The best shrimp fried rice and today I tried the Crab Rangoon and was blown away! They are very fast and the food is always HOT when it gets to you! Plus the delivery man is always so sweet! Haven’t found a better place in ATL yet!

The worst meal I’ve ever ordered here. I will NOT be going back. I’ve ordered from them in the past and it was ok, maybe 2-star. This time the wontons in the soup were undercooked and tough, although the broth was good. When my son called to explain, they snickered and said bring it back, as if I’m going to have him drive back for soup that will probably still have tough wontons. The Mongolian beef that was ordered was overwhelmed with white onions and underwhelmed with beef and green onions. The drive may be further but I will give my takeout patronage to real Chinese restaurants in the future.

TERRIBLESERVICE, DONOTEVENTRYTHISPLACE. I WOULDRATHERLET R. KELLYBABYSITMYKIDS. If I could give this place a –5 I would. They were over an hour late ON A THURSDAY(total delivery time two hours) and forgot half the order. We called multiple times asking for the status of the order the response was always«its on the way». When it finally got here cold they had no apology or reason for it being late. Then about the missing portions: we called back multiple times and the lady said they could not send it out, could not refund us and then argued for 10 minutes telling us that we were lying about the missing portions. Worst customer service and worst Chinese experience I’ve ever had.

I’ve never used them for delivery. Walk-in ordering is very quick. I’ve waited 5 mins max. The food is good, I’ve had sesame chicken & general tso’s chicken. Both were decent sized portions. I’m not a fan of the broccoli they put under the chicken, but that’s just me. I’m sure there are better places out there, but for cheap and quick chinese food it hits the spot.

Does this place offer gourmet Chinese cuisine? No, you big silly, of course not! But if you are looking for quick Chinese takeout or delivery for under $ 10, this place satisfies. My husband usually orders from the«Vegetarian Meat»(soy protein) menu, which includes items which do not actually taste like meat as advertised, however are tasty nonetheless. I normally order from the«Healthy Steamed Food» menu. Tada!

My husband and I have been ordering from this place since we moved to the neighborhood almost three years ago. It’s been pretty solid, however tonight we ordered delivery since we did not feel like leaving the house. We were quoted 45 minutes, which the driver came closer to an hour later. I ordered the shrimp fried rice, as usual. I took my first bite and immediately spit out the food — the shrimp tasty fishy and old. I called to complain and the woman working told me that I needed to bring the shrimp in so she could see it to give me my money back because they were too busy to send the driver back here. So let me get this straight — I order delivery, you screw up and you want me to bring it in to prove it? Customer service fail!

DONTWASTEYOURMONEY Before you order realize I had a menu through my door in north Buckhead, this Takeaway is in Ansley park. I’m guessing business is bad and that’s why they are branching out so far. Just something to think about. I ordered from this place because it is the only menu I could find in ATL that has shredded beef. I’ve eaten this dish for years. It’s one of my favorites. I know exactly how it should be prepared and what it should look like. What I got though was not shredded beef. All you have to do is google it and you will see how it looks. The woman on the phone told me I was wrong and that shredded beef is supposed to be slices of beef! Lmao. What an idiot. She then tells me that nobody else has ever complained about it. Maybe that’s because you’re the only place in ATL that sells it and they don’t know any better. I got ripped off, and a bowl of sliced(not shredded) beef in spicy sauce with chopped up peppers and onions and a bunch of mini corn cobs. It’s was shit. The woman didn’t give a flying fuck, she just made lame excuses. Then I had an order of sweet and sour chicken. That was also the worst I’ve ever had. It was dry, tasteless, and looked like it had been sitting under a hot lamp for 12 hours. Not to mention it tasted like French fries. She also lied saying that they were cooked in separate oil. She must think I’m stupid. Lastly most of the food was cold, cokes were warm, crab Rangoon was also stone cold. I will be disputing my $ 50 credit card charge and I hope this review hits them hard. I’ll stick to grand china. They’ve never let me down.

All the 3 stars are for sesame chicken only. Decided to try something different tonight(chicken and broccoli) and couldn’t regret my decision more! It is the most bland chicken and broccoli I have ever had. I really tried to douse it with salt, lots of soy and duck sauce but still cannot tell what I am eating if I don’t look down at my chopsticks when I pick it up. Yes, it is that bland. No flavor whatsoever. The serving is also about 85% broccoli and 15% chicken. There are way too many options nowadays for anyone to expect a second chance. I will not be going back to China Garden for anything other than sesame chicken.

This places has good food, but they have bad service. I have been ripped off by them twice. I ordered food for delivery they said my card didn’t grow through, I said I’ll pay cash, I did so and then later they charged my card anyway, I called them about the matter, she started screaming on the phone and hung up on me, I had called with my bank on the phone too and when my bank said who they were she hung up again. I use to like this place, but they’re service killed it for me.

It’s ok if u are looking for a place that gives you chinese food fast. I tried one of the combos, it was nothing out of the ordinary but it made me feel full and had a good taste. I would consider going back any time I’m craving cheap chinese…
