Not a very good deal, and they don’t offer promotion for new customers. :-( The guy at the front desk also was not helpful. This place is so small and dim. A little creepy. The tanning booth I was put in was in the hallway about 10 feet from the front door. I don’t want to come here again, yet since I also work in the same shopping center, I MIGHT come back out of convenience.

What do you get when you mix apathy, uncleanliness, shadiness, and subpar tanning beds? A shitty tanning salon. O wait, they’ve thrown in a dumb name like the proverbial«cherry on top. I hadn’t noticed. Shame on me. Like the fool in any horror movie I ran in, instead of out. STAYAWAY. OK? Live to love yourself another day, hun. Halloween is around the corner.

I’ve been tanning here for about a year. Friendly people and never a wait. It would be 5 stars if they actually run the heat in the winter time instead of being so cheap. It’s FREEZING cold in there the poor girl that works there wears a winter coat. Says the owner is to cheap.

The starship provides the best results in the least amount of time. The owner, Mark, is super friendly and frequently has specials running that make tanning affordable.

I came here to get a spray tan before a wedding that I went to and was excited to find out that it wasn’t a machine. I had the mystic tan done twice before and was satisfied enough with it, but always heard that the airbrush tanning was much more precise and had a better overall look. I must say, I wasn’t too impressed. To me, the results were the same as the mystic tan in terms of color/evenness, but I actually prefer the mystic tan. The airbrushing took so long to do and it was so wet and sticky. I was told to put baby powder on my legs after wards so that when I put my jeans on it wouldn’t be sticky. Well, the baby powder resulted in my legs being super super white as if they weren’t airbrushed at all! My feet were so splotchy and looked like I had some skin disorder that was making me discolored. With the mystic tan, I was able to shower fairly quickly and it washed off a little, but most color stayed. With the airbrushing, I waited about 9 hours before showering and 90 percent of the color washed off and it didn’t wash off evenly! Also, hopefully you don’t go to the bathroom for at least 6 hours after wards because as soon as you wash your hands, the color is coming off! My neck is splotchy, the bottom of my feet look dirty — really dirty-, and overall for half the time it took and half the price, I will do mystic tan next time! I was told it would last longer too, but after 2 days, the color is completely off my legs, face, neck, hands, stomach, etc. It is still on my arms and my chest, but that is it!

One word: airbrush. Love, love, love their airbrush spray tanning! No, this isn’t Mystic Tan or another crazy machine. You actually get airbrushed by a person, so it’s completely customized for your body… just like the celebs get on TV(well, maybe not celebs as much as reality stars). You’d probably expect to pay $ 40-$ 50 for such a service. Guess again! You can get a single session for as low as $ 25! The staff here is great and I actually don’t mind being naked in front of them(oh hai, Mike!). Who am I kidding?!? I don’t really care who sees me naked… Come here and get treated like a Local Atlanta Celebrity. You’re worth it… and so is your skin!

I don’t think I have tanorexia but I do love me a nice golden tan in the summer, winter, fall and spring(note to others… don’t take this as an endorsement of tanning as I understand the down sides). The price is excellent and the beds are always clean. There are a variety of bed options(stand up, lay down, high pressure, low pressure, spray tan) and the people working at the front desk are always very nice. There is great thump a thump a music playing and you can blast it in the bed while you bake away for 8 – 12 minutes. The bulbs are very strong and I feel like the beds are in really good shape. My partner liked the spray tan when he went while I felt a little like the great pumpkin from Charlie Brown(my skin tone does not lend itself to the spray tan process). The only down side is the price of the tanning lotions. They are a wee bit on the expensive side. If you know you are going to use lotion every time you go, invest in a whole bottle because the little packages are very expensive and don’t tend to give you full cover. Check out the summer specials/packages and be sure to ask them if they are offering specials. I have not been there when they were not offering some type of discount.
