We strive to be a congregation that embodies God’s radical love and radical hospitality, proclaiming Jesus as our savior and as our model of the ultimate embodiment of God’s love. We believe that all persons are of sacred worth and dignity as part of God’s good creation. Druid Hills United Methodist Church welcomes all persons into the full life and ministry of our congregation, regardless of race, culture, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, family or socioeconomic status, physical or mental ability, or faith history.

History

Established in 1910.

For 100 years, Druid Hills United Methodist Church has attempted to faithfully respond to the call to serve God’s people in the community, and, as our denomination proclaims, «make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.» Our local expression of that mission statement is «Radical Love is Here.» The hope is that we will learn how to live into the fullness of those words.
