We went to the Stemmer Building location on Lawrenceville Hwy for a long time for treatment. Every single time no matter how serious our pain we had to wait for up to an hour to get in even though we had an appointment. The front desk staff — every single one of them and every single time — gave us «attitude» no matter how simple our question such as just making an appointment. I hate to say it but it was pretty obvious that they had a completely different disposition when dealing with minority patients as opposed to patients like us. Some nurses were good, others were pretty careless about things and that’s not a comforting feeling when your loved one is undergoing chemo. It was a completely stressful experience each and every time we had to go to this place and honestly I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Started chemo therapy with Atlanta Cancer Specialists today. Dr.Jolly and staff are kind and attentive. The facility is bright with lots of windows. There are twenty chemo infusion stations equipped with very comfortable recliners for the patient and chairs for family members. Two large big screen TV’s mounted on the walls and a small coffee snack bar add to the comfort. The chemo staff members are fantastic, friendly, and kind. My nurse walked me through each infusion and installation and operating instruction to a pump I will wear for a few days to be removed Friday. Very positive first impression.
